I wouldn't mind a black front rail for them. Me thinks that a single colour or pattern for a gun works best. Great job, though. Among the best I've ever seen.

Check your "Next Target" keybind. That should do the trick, as well as work for bipods and hard resting.

According to menu campaign is coming in October, so not too long then. Also, what would you have rather had: 1. BI does as-is, game is released not really complete but will fix and add stuff post-release, or 2. BI delays game, loses money, has to lay off staff and we have a game that has an even lesser chance of being what you want? -

Correct me if I am wrong but aren't all NATO forces equipped with Trauma Plates (rigid inserts inside the vests)? If I am not mistaken these are for the very purpose of mitigating blunt force trauma on the individual wearing it. I'm fairly confident that the survivability of the wearer vs a shot would be moderately high.

Has anyone else see the new cannon optics for the Slammer and Varsuk? I find them pretty realistic, and the Varsuk's is based off the T95's. Progress, I guess. EDIT: Forgot to mention that I was on devbranch. I was not being sarcastic.

Check if Steam hasn't reverted you to stable branch. It does that to people sometimes, apparently.

I have to say that "external influences" is a bit... I don't know. It's hard to take the opinion of someone who hasn't played the game as seriously as someone who has, even with the valid points you present. -

The terminal ballistics of 5.56 are interesting. From what I can tell unless you're using a 20 inch barrel (like the M16 series) the damage it deals to the body cuts off drastically above 50m, so double tapping is a reasonable technique. Just don't mag dump, or you'll possibly melt the damn thing. -

Edit: never mind, just checked the download file. It should be working in theory. Be sure to check the "extensions" sections to make sure the mod is activated. If not, try not using Launch Options and instead activating it from the extensions sections. Welcome to the forums. -

You make it sound like they didn't try. From what I can tell (I don't work for them, I wouldn't be the best to ask) a lot of the content is withheld because they want to improve on them. For example working vehicle doors: They had a brief appearance on Devbranch (not sure about stable, haven't been there in ages), but they were held back because they weren't working so well. Maybe the female models have animation problems or something, I don't know. These things happen, and patience is all we need sometimes. I know it's hard to wait when we've waited so much already, but we have to.

Okay, I've done some testing, and it seems pretty solid. Two things though: 1. The C8A3 CQB may need some tweaking. Do note that me firing it has nothing to do with it,I just thought that it would be cool. 2. The CG seems to shoot its rockets sideways. -
IIRC I read somewhere that the Oculus Rift is already compatible with RV3.
