Calm down SJW. In all seriousness, it's not that we advocate the lack of females in the game, but not only do we prefer not to see them as useless animals (in the sense that you could literally do more with the animals that with the women) like in Arma 2 we're also far too excited for #BIPODS. P.S. I would refrain from calling the devs "super autistic and sexist", it really shows more about you than it does about the people that you refer to as such.

It also looks like a different suppressor, though that may just be the angle.

DARPA taps tech to build sophisticated artificial limbs for wounded veterans
13islucky replied to eddo36's topic in OFFTOPIC
We can rebuild them, we have the technology. We can make them better than they were. Better, stronger, faster. In all seriousness, I think it's great. I can see some form of ethical debate happen surrounding this, but if the vets want them (and more importantly they work and are safe) I don't see why not. -
So I don't need jointmuzzles anymore right? Just making sure.

First Zubr, now Kir. I swear it's like BIS is trying to insert as many dick references as possible in Arma 3.

Is that a gas block/piston I see sticking out on the Cyrus' front end? Not such a good idea when designing a weapon, but other than I like the Eastern FAL look its got.
-
If I remember correctly in the weapon resting feedback thread all weapons will be stabiliseable, even without the bipods, but the bipods offer a greater boost to stabilization. Otherwise, those rifles look way too big to be in 7.62 NATO and .338. Also noticed the markings on the Mk-1 have Mar 10 on them, which is probably placeholder. Good looking guns, definitely.

Was going to post this in its own thread, but I suppose this is fairly appropriate here. So apparently there's a "non-profit security firm" called Sons of Liberty International. that's been training Iraqi Christians for free. Despite sounding like something out of Metal Gear Solid I genuinely have no idea what to think of this. Only video on the website is a Fox News interview, which doesn't particularly impress me. There's an option to donate in you particularly feel the need to, and the option to join as an unpaid volunteer. Guy who set it up is also an interesting character. He's "an international security expert, former POW, and combat veteran of the 2011 Libyan Revolution." Has a film about his experiences there, if I'm not mistaken.

I would assume removing tmr_autorest.pbo and tmr_smallarms_recoil would be enough, though you might lose the ability to use the bipod.

Toadie's SmallArms and Animations for Arma3

Noice, liking the way you handle things, though the $4300 Hi-Point should probably be higher on the list hehe. Anyways, I'm liking what I'm seeing, and I'm curious as to what 'Project Darwinism' is. Edit: Never mind that question, just saw the comments on the video. -
D.U.S.T – Unforgiving Realism FPS
13islucky replied to roberthammer's topic in OFFTOPIC - Games & Gaming
Yeah, so one comment on the video provided a link to the legit free download of the game, which made me feel extra shafted when I found out that it turned closed alpha just after the video because the devs couldn't handle the traffic. I would ask if anyone has a pre-closed alpha account they would "share", but I don't know how ethical that would be. I know, apparently to shoot you have to press MMB and scroll downwards, to simulate pulling the trigger. That's just plain counter-intuitive. -
Have you considered making an M4A1 without the RIS, so that we can live out our late 1990's/early 2000's fantasies?
-
IIRC the first 3D ACOG iterations of the FHQ accessories pack automatically disabled NV when you aimed down the sights, perhaps you could ask on how he did it?
-
It shouldn't really matter though. The reticle itself seems properly calibrated from what I can tell.

Aww sheeeit, there goes my afternoon.

Liking the mix of older and newer stuff there, RH. Will the ones in your M16/M4 pack duplicate these?

Great, that's even more unnerving than living scarecrows. And they move too? -

Great, living scarecrows. Thanks to you I'll probably spend quite some time here in GMT+0700 thinking of that. P.S. Also, was that in-game? The rusted n' busted car gives me that impression. -

ArmA III Ballistics Overhaul

That probably explains why 7.62x39 is a more popular choice for suppression, then again I have no idea how subsonic 7.62 performs. -
Talk about a plan backfiring, huh?

Ah, so that's what "Je ne suis pas Charlie, je suis Mohammed" is. Kinda pissed me off seeing mass amounts of likes on those Facebook comments at first, but it helped me realize how watching South Park growing up really got me (and surprisingly enough my rather religious family) over getting offended by satire.

I should start reading. Totally missed the part where it says it's a SUSAT.
-
If I'm not mistaken there's already an addon that does this. Hold on a sec Here ya go, the reflex sight seems to be a bit different though.

Toadie's SmallArms and Animations for Arma3

I *think* this means yes, DragonFyre is the first JSRS I've tried.
