I have windows 7 and fast PC, Nvidia SLIx2 card GeForce 660ti, i got gold edition stan alone (no steam) version, every video setting set to highest quality except Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic filtering disabled.
When i installed first time i had graphics glitch so i had to update to version 1.18, now graphics issue is fixed.
However I noticed problem when i disabled v-sync in video driver settings for Arma and play first mission everything is too fast e.g. looking around with your mouse, moving, shooting, AI chatter on radio is like 2 times faster than usual. I had few other old games that act the same like (Homeworld 2 etc) has to have v-sync enabled otherwise game speed slower/faster than frame rate.
However when i put v-sync back on now i have 60 FPS constant and speed got a bit better, but still too fast especially AI chatter. Is there some particular setting i need to change to fix it?
