  4. This is a shot in the dark, but is there a way that anybody knows of, that will enable me to silence the player's own radio voice? I don't want to lose the radio or scripted voices. I want to be able to stop the ability for the player to issue commands to, well, nobody. The trouble is, I have a voice actor playing a voice, and I want to get rid of the player's default radio voice... I'm trying to get a new command implemented: http://feedback.arma3.com/my_view_page.php, but it'd be great if there's a work around.     Spent today recording wind turbines. Managed to capture some splendid material, and then synced the speed to the turbines in-game. They're positively intimidating now. No silent solar farms on Altis in this campaign!

    'Mad man Mikhalis' runs guns from North Africa to the Republic of Altis on a high-powered speedboat. His clients are the FIA and he is a top target for the AFF in their ongoing COIN ops.

    Another thing I'd like to mention, this campaign will reward a little exploration. There's lines of dialogue specifically recorded for certain discoveries, as well as a long list of scripted events. It'll also make the missions that little be easier.

  9. Hi all - just wondered - there's an issue with custom voices when you are in first person in the helicopter. They are far too quiet (known bug, I think). Now, in BI's Combined Arms showcase, where you insert by helicopter, the voices sound fine. Does anybody know how they managed that? I've tried say, say3D, playsound, KBTell, etc., etc. Just can't get the voice equalisation...

    Grumpy Old Man - you beat me to it! I plan on using these as a spotlight on a heli. Let me know how it goes and if it works ok!
  11. Or if you like, send me a link to a file under 5000k and I'll upload it myself. Having such a hard time putting something together under 5000k! It's always a little bit over and the feedback tracker doesn't like it!

    Yeah, testing will certainly be needed. It should be pretty much glitch free (I've been thorough) but gameplay elements could need tweaking. For the most part, it's been put together on the DEV build, but there shouldn't be any issues with compatability.

    Any ideas on how we can generate a bit of publicity on this campaign? You know, for the contest, I was actually considering doing a prize draw and giving away RESIST themed mouse mats when supporters left their email address...

    Yeah guys, as Kommiekat says, I have to keep a lot on the down low. Fortunately, what you've seen is the tip of the iceberg. The REALLY cool stuff is yet to come. I'd love to share everything with you all, but it is for a contest and I have put in 2600+ hours - so you'll understand if I'm a wee bit reserved! I like the proverb 'give a man a fish, and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and feed him for a life-time'. Check out the Arma3 commands wiki and post questions on the forums. I'll try to answer what I can without, you know, revealing too much or giving too much away.
