  1. Hey, guys. Sorry for the lack of updates. I'm just a little bit busy with school work and the sorts. Don't worry though, I'm still actively working on the mod. I've been wirking on some concept designs, these include; a tatical heavy lift aircraft, a medium utility helicopter, a stealth fighter jet with a compatable role to an F/A-18 E/F and some other concept designs I haven't decided on what their role is yet.

    I'm also looking for some people with modeling experience and knowledge of advanced arma coding/config design. If anyone knows or knows someone who would be willing to help, give me a PM on the BI forums.

    Oh yeah, I almost forgot, if Foxhound sees this, could you please edit the AH thread and the mod page to the new title please?

    When I get back from holidays there will be a small update to the uniforms, this update will change out the Mountain DeAU stuff and replace it with ODF markings. Also I'll be adding custom patches. Expect next Wednesday or before.

    Hello!
    This is the ODF Mod thread, where you browse all the screenshots and information that isn't on the mod page. Here you can give me feedback and maybe give me ideas if you're feeling generous enough.

    I decided to put this onto the BI forums as in my opinion, it's more up-to-date than the AH forums. Not to say the AH forums are bad, they do what they are designed to do. But they have only a fraction of people than the BI forums.
    This mod is going to be updated when I feel like it, which is good because I'm free most of the time. The name change from Mountain DeAU to Oceania Defence Force is because Mountain DeAU sounded like a quickscoping CoD clan or a rip off of the drink Mountain Dew. Also I'm preparing a bit of LORE to go with the mod is the near future.

  6. So I guess the Merkava MK.4 isn't going to be with the U.S. Military by 2030, as the game depicts. Interesting. But then again, this is the Armaverse and anything can happen. Say if we are using the Armaverse, what do you think about the Leopard 2 A6 -PSO being on the BLUFOR side instead of the Merkava?

    I just releized that the indep. side uses the Leopard tank, A4 i think.

I finished the base uniforms yesterday but I don't have any clue on how to put them into the game, if someone knows how to do that simply then you would have my gratitude. Also, I haven't been doing much with the mod b/c of school work and such, I will finish retextureing the plate-carrier and helmet tonight (Equip and armor/ vests template names etc)


  10. Alright, that makes sense. but the mod is based around the 2030's after the military has gone over a massive overhaul (Armaverse). Also wouldn't there be global warming and the earth would be a bit hotter so there would be need for desert camo in desert environments. What i'm trying to say is, 80's camo isn't really going to cut it when the opposition and the rest of the modern world has moved on and gone all pixelated.

    p.s. aren't most of the Humvees, MRAPs and logistics vehicles in their environment-suitable camouflage?
