  1. 2 Sections! We have opened our 2nd Section under 1 Platoon, and are making accomodations for a third. This addition to the unit is allowing us to open... Queen's Royal Hussars/Royal Wessex Yeomanru Now that we have 2 infantry sections, preparations are being made to open up C Squadron, Queen's Royal Hussars, along with the RWxY as their reserves counterpart. This Troop will be operating the FV4034 Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank alongside 1 Platoon, as well as operating FV510 Warriors in the reconnaissance role. Training on the CR2 is underway, using our own in-house modification of Burnes' CR2 TES, and is being spearheaded by actual serving members of the QRH. Members looking to join the QRH will need to first serve 6 weeks minimum in the RIFLES platoon, as all available roles are currently taken! Home Rotation After 6 weeks of OP MARATHON I, the 20th AIB have returned to the Hebontes Military Training Facility in order to conduct Counter Insurgency training, before we deploy on operations to Zargabad. Joint Operations In the background, preparations are being made to conduct joint ops with the vPzBrig 21, our German Army counterparts, the 51st Infantry Brigade, and later the 1 RRF MilSim Unit.
  2. 70's Campaign We are currently preparing for an operational rotation... 70's style. DPM, SLR, GPMG and berets... what's not to like? In the next few weeks we will begin a campaign on Tanoa! Joint Operations We have recently conducted low level joint operations with the 51st Infantry Brigade and the 12th Armoured Infantry Brigade, and a possible joint campaign with the First Fusiliers is on the horizon. Our main effort is to provide armour support using the FV510 Warrior and FV432/3 Bulldog. Recent Media 70's Style training Recent CIC Armoured Infantry/Crew Training OBEX Training Summary We have had a busy quarter between various joint operations and home rotations, and will soon deploy to Tanoa on a 70's style campaign. If you're interested in British tactics, armoured vehicles, and teamwork, give us a shout!

I had read a detailed report on the bulldog which ironically enough i can't locate at the moment. Figures Regarding the stabilisation, the GPMG turret is hand cranked and shouldn't be stabilised (much like the jackal/coyote). The variant with the Enforcer is stabilised so no feedback necessary there, I can't argue with the experts! It has been a while since I've looked into it and i admit i could have it the wrong way around, thanks for setting it straight.

Bulldog is very nice and an extremely useful asset!! Only have 3 points of feedback for it: Gunner's seat should be called Commander's seat The Mk. 3 variant when given the WRAP 2 ERA package was given a new engine that enabled it to keep up with the warrior so the top speed should be 72 km/h The GPMG turret shouldn't be fully stabilised Everything else regarding the 432 is extremely well done! Can't wait to see what you're bringing to the table with the 107!!

    Warrior IFV - FV510 variant

    absolutely amazing. Looking good!
  6. Joint Operations Beginning later this week, we begin our first joint operation with the 161st Reconnaissance Regiment! Although we will be performing many roles with them, our main effort will be to provide an Armoured Infantry QRF using the FV510 Warrior IFV. Videos and media will soon follow! OP LIBERATION LYTHIUM I is a go! Youtube Channel We have now got a revamped YouTube channel thanks to one of our new members! Our first video is of an off-night Hearts and Minds game, an unofficial event played by members of the community! Or perhaps a webbing with the radio pouch instead of it being a backpack? Also do you plan on implementing the XML and Insignia systems into your uniforms?
  8. Rolling Thunder 22 We recently participated in the Rolling Thunder armoured PvP, bringing 2 tanks to BLUFOR. Even though the Russians annihilated our team, we excelled as a crew and troop! We participate in many community events, and will be back and ready for Rolling Thunder 23 this winter! Joint Operations We have recently begun training to prepare for a joint operation with the 51st Infantry Brigade. EX HIGHLAND SWORD will commence on the 11th July to assess our skills and cohesiveness before we deploy as a joint battle group. FV510 Warrior After a year of work and much frustration, we have finally released a version of our FV510 Warrior edit to the public. She's a beauty! We are charging ahead into the future, ready for whatever comes our way!

    3CB BAF Weapons

Which is more or less what they've got in the pic anyways!

    RMMV (WIP)

At least you have an improv rapid vehicle deployment system #JustArmaThings P.S. That's a really nice warrior model!

    3CB BAF Weapons

Seems to be standard issue across the board for deploying troops, I get snaps from friends in different regiments across the board (mostly infantry, some RAC), most of whom have tan SA80's. I wish it were possible to choose a weapon paint like is done with vehicles. Then the whole eleventy-six different weapons variant would be moot. Completely understand the workload. Can't wait to see all the gucci new stuff in store, it will be awesome! keep up the good work, and maybe someday we can get a proper reload (BF2: PR probably being the best example)!

    3CB BAF Weapons

+1 for the first two points. Spraying the weapons tan is pretty much standard and it's pretty good looking, and it would go well with the RKSL tan LDS. CUP's animation is nearly perfect, just instead of pulling back the charging handle the character should ease springs pushing the bolt release (left side, just above the selector switch) before doing the forward assist. IDK how further breaking down the belt split system would be good though, it's alot of extra work for a seldom seen feature, and you can't just magically create a magazine out of linked ammo anyways, since arma gets rid of your empties. P.S. CUP's SA80 series also have a correct fire selector mechanism, when the safety is put on with ACE it doesn't move, so repetition is always repetition and automatic is always automatic.

    20th AIB Realistic Warrior

At the moment we're just focussing on the ISV variant since there isn't much practical use for the 512/513 with the lack of relevant features and we can use the 510 as a stand in for the 511. Wouldn't rule it entirely out, however something like that would be a long-term goal for sure.

Thanks for the speedy answer. Sounds awesome, thanks!

+1 this would be absolutely crucial for any sustained operations, especially when using the ACE refuel!

Apologies, it seems in my excitement I missed the last bit of that announcement regarding the CVR(T) family.. But sounds good! Thanks for the clarification and keep up the great work!!

    3CB BAF Vehicles

On the topic of the FV107, if/when the Scimitar Mk. 2 comes out, and since it's more or less a scimitar turret plopped onto a Spartan APC, would there be the possibility for the Spartan APC by itself?

    3CB BAF Vehicles

@lifetap Thanks for the reply. Sounds good, makes sense on the ammo. Perhaps if you lot ever do warrior it could be a possibility? Makes sense though, cheers for clearing that up. Cheers!

    CVR(T) Scimitar/Scorpion

Sounds good! This could make for some good Falklands style scenarios! For the Scimitar, will you be implementing the slow rate of fire (90 RPM) and 6 round magazines for the RARDEN? Your idea on sights and ranging sounds spectacular!

    3CB BAF Vehicles

How realistic do you guys plan on going with the Scimitar turret/weapon systems? And with that, will it include the ammo as an inventory item even with 2 weapons for the gunner? Can't wait to get this bad boy on the field!

Looking very good! I will be sure to get some more screenshots out with the new kit! Any plans to model the latest issue UBACS? It's called UBACS EP; the mesh centre is MTP, there isn't any padding in the sleeves, and the pockets are now velcro'd in a hollow square shape. \ Anyways great work!!!
