  1. Hello everyone! We are proud to announce that some developers of the ArmADeus 2.0: French & Belgium have merged with OFrP Team (The notorious Operation Frenchpoint mod). This implies that the official release of ArmADeus 2.0: French & Belgium is canceled, however, we are very happy to join the battle with the OFrP Team where we can join our forces in a awesome and single mod. For more informations about OFrP, you can visit the Operation Frenchpoint website (English version, click here) where you can already see some of very cool work-in-progress screenshots.     Hello ! Well, for aerial view, your forest is generaly covered by a lot of trees, so this should not be a problem. For the map view, this is covered by a green area, this green area is defined on your config.cpp : example : class Tilos: Stratis { minTreesInForestSquare = 10; minRocksInRockSquare = 25; }; The minTreesInForestSquare parameter will create a green area on your map according of the value defined (in this case 10). Same thing for the follow parameter but for rocks. (gray area). But of course, if you need you can also paint your area in photoshop, create a layer, use the lasso tool, use the paint pot with a green color and then set the opacity to 25, it's should be fine.   10. Well, the Heightmap is made on L3DT Pro. But yes indeeded the terrain is fully made on Terrain Builder and Bulldozer :) A lot of people says "Arma3Tools is crappy and sucks " and wait for "Ultra modern 3D Editor with full assist to make a terrain with 80% of randomization " but for me, you need to take the time to place your objects manualy and test your terrain each 250m in-game with IA and players if it's fessable. Of course you also need to learn the in-real-life geographical data and make a lot of sketchs (paper or directly in game). For a lot of people making a terrain is just a config.cpp with 10.000 objects, but you need to learn a lot before that you start a terrain, I think that this think kill a lot of community terrain in Arma (and others game. It's not my irl job, i'm not a professionnal terrain maker but i think that after 5 years of making terrain on several engine i'm maybe not wrong.

    Well, Pettka just says "We are not ready to reveal our plans for the Expansion’s playable content yet." I don't see where Pettka say "There will not be another campaign". I think it is too early for Bohemia to begins a campaign, the new terrain have just started a few months ago and their priority for now is the Marksman DLC so...

  15. @ICE_AGE0815 : Well, nothing very productive and I had to leave early so, you have not missed anything ;) I've started some sketch yesterday of an F.O.B. (+ a whole documentation about FOB in Afghanistan). So, I hope to start it today if I have time and why not post some screenshots in 2 or 4 days :cool: I'll also try to modify next week the default Sandstorm function created by Bohemia Interactive for Arma 2 to make it better and more usable for Kandahar Province.

    End Game MP Mode - Feedback

    Well, it's was very cool to play with the devs and others players today! :cool: But I think that at the end (of the second party) a player who had the schematics disconnected and this create a bug which was that we could not finish the mission (I believe). Edit: Bug I had during the mission, click here I've also a lot of error in my RPT: "Client: Object 8:30 (type Type_X) not found." (~1.500 lines) I've also this: "Wrong weapon selection." (~2.000 lines) X is a number (115, 190, 105 and lot of more). You can download the RPT by clicking here (I think you have the same of me but...)

    Thanks for your reply neokika. I agree with R3vo and ErikTrak if anyone need this to play and if it can avoid TK, it's cool, but make it optional for the player please :) Thanks again, well if your framework is so powerful is cool :D. But for example, some player doesn't like the Virtual Arsenal (kill them please :cool:) and prefer the V.A.S. system for example, can i add this system throught the framework (adding files on the mission, adding objects on the map, and modify the init.sqf and Description.ext)? I also wonder if the gamemode can be exported on a user-made terrain? Because for example i would like to add the gamemode compatibility with my map Kandahar Province by including the gamemode imported on a custom .pbo for the release. (like this, the player do not have to do it themselves). Well, i guess it's not possible with a simple framework that's why it would be cool to have the unbinarized .ebo :). Thanks.
