  1. That link was intesting.. the 3770K blows away even then other i7 cpus including the Sandy Bridge one! Hmm think i must get a 3770K now...
  2. Yes i would have hoped the developers had gotten their magic multithreading pants on when coding arma3 but at leaqst for now in alpha that seems not to be the case. Sure would be nice if some devs could tell if they plan on making use of hyperthreading/more cores in the future. :)

Best waves and best ocean in game.

    Wow looks amazing!
  4. Yes the i7 is alot faster at many work related tasks but this computer will be a pure gaming machine (i already have a workstation). So its pure arma performance I'm interested in and esp. the lovley arma3. In know the general consencus is that i7 with its hyperthreading is useless for gaming but i have recently seen multiplayer tests on large 64 player servers with battlefield 3 that show large improvements with i7. Thats why i am asking.
  5. Are there any tests done showing that Arma2-3 doesnt use hyper threading?
  6. Im buying a new computer for arma3 soon and just wonder if an intel i7 with hyperthreading will benefit this game?
