  1. Did you have a lot of trouble to implement them or did it work "out of the box" so to speak? The whole JBOY Dog thing would open up so much possibilities on mp/coop mission, its insane. Thank you for your work @johnnyboy
  2. I know how hard RL can throw stones in your way so i hope your path will be free soon, not just because of the Mission Update but because of a (relative) stress-free life. Still, those changelogs look amazing and i hope we can test it soon.
  3. With the release of the x64 executable for ArmA 3, do we need an update for the IniDB aswell?
  4. Thats odd because i do not have the port 2305 open at all. On my box, 2302,2303,2304,8766 and 27016 UDP are the only ports i have forwarded for ArmA 2 OA and ArmA 3, after a minute of having them running, they can be found via the ingame Browser
  5. As far as i know, the server will only be listed via the Serverbrowser is it can communicate with the Steam Master-Server list via UDP 8766, it will take a minute or two after the server is running for it to get listed tho. If you already run portforwarding for that port and your dedi still can´t be found, i would clear every firewall rule for ArmA and restart the game/server for the exception popup to ask again

    NIArms Release Thread

    I apologise in advance and i might get flamed for this but i can´t figure out what to do with the OPTIONAL folder/files and i didn´t find anything about them in the readme. If i´m using CUP weapons,do i take the optional files out of that folder,throw them in the @NIArsenal folder and everything is good?
  7. Sorry,the wounding system isn´t working since Apex? If you can still heal yourself after getting shot, the movement bug can be worked around so to speak,yes?
  8. The "for fun" port of your mission to CUP were i showed you the git-repo runs in harmony with latest CUP (aside from the mentioned RPT spam),still sad to leave AiA behind. Mods like IronFront-FULL are unusable now
  9. Can you give details on how far into the mission your server crashes? Maybe it needs time to "build up" towards the crash and we just avoided that timeframe
  10. We had a lot of gameplay with the mission during the last weeks,no crashes or weird behavior (aside from the things we know already,like exploding caches at mission start but thats neglectable). Still impressed with the performance,very good work

    Since this comes as PBO´d mod,how does one add an eventhandler to Zombies that got spawned during gameplay and are not there during mission start?

  18. This is a very good tool,well done mate! Upon testing,i discovered the native support for CUP Terrain things. I need to maintain a mission that is not easily ported,can i add AiA to this tool to have the buildings there aswell? Edit: also,how do i define the point where i start in the CompT mode? As there is no map,i have troubles navigating from point to point (or rather location to location) with this.Is using the coordination system the only way? Edit 2: if you place something and move it around via "2", the object is "grouped" or "bound" to something in the distance and doesn`t let you change the height anymore. is that what "pivots" are used for and if yes,how to change the grouping to one that is near the object? Thanks for the tool man,it really is great
  19. Shouldn`t this be switchable without problems anyway? I`m not at home to check but the mission should load just fine,no matter if you are using CUP or AiA

  21. i`m a bit out of the loop here,anyone managed to update AIS (meaning,add the newest version from a few days ago to this mission here) ? edit: i`d also like to report that the hideObjectGlobal additions on the last page do not work properly on my side,no idea if its eden related but the units do not get visible at all and i get a black box with error on line 36&37 "missing ;". To be precise,it does throw up an error once reaching the line " _unit setBehavior "SAFE"; " edit 2: upon commenting both instances of setBehavior out,it works as intended. still weird,no? edit 3: phronk,you asked for suggestions a while back,i have two : 1.Squadleader should be able to call emergency evac chopper (AI) that extracts his squad 2.There should be a civilian kill counter with some sort of special enemy squad spawning around the person that exceeds the RoG limit of civilian casualties
  22. I did,noticed some small wonky lines that way but in the end,even if it is done via "best practice", more errors get reported but this time without a specific line of code
  23. whenever EDEN throws a fit,i added what was asked (like "missing ;",i added a ; to the script) but that solves nothing. Just spits out more errors,doesn`t run scripts etc,i just hope that gets fixed or we get told what the problem is because right now i can`t use a lot of scripts that work perfectly fine in the 2d editor
  24. I have Eden display lots and lots of scripting errors regarding "missing ;" or "expected object,recieved string" that i do not understand. Mission/Scripts work fine in the 2D editor,what is up with that? Not Mod related in my case btw,just scripts that do not rely on any outside content
