Arma 2 Free - Lags/Glitches after playing a while

Hi. I'm having heavy lags/glitches (distorted graphic after playing for 1 hour). This are my specs: AMD Athlon II x2 260 3.2GHZ GeForce GT 440 (2,3GB) RAM (3.3GB) Pixel Shader: 5.0 Vertex shader: 5.0 Is it risky for hardware to keep playing this game? I do not know what is happening, I have solid PC. :rolleyes:
