@ Placebo, sorry thought the full Dxdiag might help to find a solution, thx for cleaning that up.

    d3dx11_42.dll

Hey DnA, yes i checked the files with the Steam function and it didn't find any corrupt files. Like I said have I reinstalled DX11 and even ARMA 3 completely new... and the error occurs now no matter what I try. And if my DX11 installation is corrupt like the message on the ARMA 3 startup says, then I don't understand why all the other DX11 games run just perfectly?! Any idea?

    d3dx11_42.dll

Hi community, yesterday I installed and played the ARMA 3 Alpha several hours without major problems, I had some crashes while playing to the desktop and game freezes, but it was never a problem to restart the game. Today the game.exe is not working anymore. Every time when i hit the .exe i get the following message: "C:\Windows\system32\d3dx11_42.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support". So, I reinstalled the latest DX11 version from the microsoft page, rebooted my system and the error still occurs. Then I extracted the CAB File and replaced the d3dx11_42.dll manually from the dx11 install folder into the system32 folder, rebooted and still not running... Now I'm out of ideas, all other installed games run fine, just ARMA 3 won't start becaus of this error. My OS is Windows 7 x64 CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 964+ RAM: GSkill 8GB PC 1333 GPU: GeForce GTX 560ti I Updated my Nvidia drivers and Realtek ALC892 Drivers today, still no change. The corrupt .dll message is still shown...
