I completely uninstalled ZA and I can confirm that recent game blocking was fault of ZA I dont know what caused it to start malfunction and blocking some games without showing any notification. Maybe it was because I disabled that Toolbar IswSvc to be able to play ARMA3 because untill then I had no problems at all. Fuse i was making notes when I tested AV and FW in case I would forget why I didnt like some of that programs :) One of the worst was OUTPOST which caused BSOD and I didnt suspect that it may be because of AV and FW I was seeking problem somewhere else and I could not find what was causing BSOD so I just had idea to disable some programs and I discovered that outpost was that bad boy. I had some problems long time ago with comodo but maybe now they fixed it so as FW I'll try that. And for AV I will try AVG and avast. Thanx guys for suggestions.

I would like to know what antivirus and firewall you prefer. I had problems with ZA which somehow blocked ARMA3 from starting and there was needed disabling tollbar for game to start. But recently ZA started to break somehow. In task manager vsmon started to use 13% of my cpu almost all the time even if I was rendering graphic. I tried to make priority to low and then it stopped using 13% of CPU but when I am using my PC to furf the net ZA still uses 13% of CPU and also 363000K of memory. I am having proplems to start arma3 now and other game that my friend gave me key for beta of "Loaded". Arma just stops responding and in task manager I cant close it also the same thing is with Loaded, it stops at logging in. I tried to see ZA if it still works properly but when I chose scan for viruses it is not making anything, scan duration is at 00:00:00 and progress bar is not showing any progress. That is enaught I decided to throw it away from my pc. So now I have question for you guys. What best free antivirus and firewall you prefer?

Frustrating.. I didnt like arma 2 MP because of TPP and arma 3 still uses this ridiculous TPP mode like some simple arcadeish TPP game. So this game for now have nothing to offer except playing in MP which was in my case useless not only because TPP but also after about 10 minutes of play it always disconnected. I just giving up on it. When it will be finished I will then play single player missions only because MP is ruined for me anyway as I said because of TPP mode that others are using (in sim game lol) and all those hackers that with such ease ruined arma 2 and now arma 3 I am starting to doubt in bohemias ability to make better games with some real improvements. I expected more really not only graphical changes but some better system for cover system or gun handling. Funny that in this sim game I can rotate my character like in CS game which is as fact as I can move my mouse lol even in prone... In arma 2 it was not possible... Only 1 animation for reloading :/ so no matter if there is bullet in chamber already or not (and this is sim game?lol) Annoying permanent gun holding pose, when I wanted to turn around in doorway or narrow hallway in arma 2 then my character was not able to turn abound or was moving while I was turning my view. I see that in arma 3 it was not even touched (fixed/tweaked) :/ I dont know if I will be still participating in alpha or any bug reporting so I wanted to mention all that annoying stuff in arma3. In terms of realism feel I prefer more ghost recon advanced warfighter 1 and 2 because it feels more realistic than arma. Arma is only better at ballistics. For now arma is frustrating experience and disappointment in terms of improvements compared to arma2.

lol your post is complete nonsense :) Dont understand you at all. Maybe read my FIRST post then you will understand. Read it with understanding next time. You saying that there is fix for that problem.... yes and I wrote how to fix it in my first post ! I didnt ask for help to fix it I wrote how to fix it! I only wanted to report it ! I can play this game so what is you talking about?! What system problems? I dont have any ! I was writing about arma conflicting with ZA and posted it here so ppl from bohemia will fix their game to work with ZA. Do you have 5 sec memory problem or what ? Or didnt you read my first post but only last one... Or you have problems with understanding things... Why people like you replying in the first place?! U want to make posts rank to go up or what ?! If you got nothing interesting to say then just dont reply. First guy with stupid suggestion about removing ZA (...why not remove everything to just play this game and dont report any bugs just play this alpha and dont complain... I bought alpha to report problems/bugs/glitches and I am just doing it but some crazy users blame me for using stuff that conflict with this godlike alpha... U ppl should sit and think about yourself REALLY!) now this dude with idea "just fix it, there is no point in reporting problem to bohemia because you must fix your problems on your computer".... The most important thing to fix first is stability of game and ability for all to RUN it. No I dont want suggestions. AV testing I have over myself some time ago. Picked the best rated and installed them. If they make lots of problems I tried to find solutions in internet if there was none or was very big pain in the a** I throw them away and tested next one. That way of elimination I ended on most stable AV that was not making very big mistakes and caused very bad issues. So as I said few times already in this case it is not fault of AV so I will not try to fix it from side that is not faulty one (hello LOGIC) I am trying to fix that part that making problem and in this case is arma 3 alpha so what I did I reported it to the right place for people who making arma to fix it. It would be silly if I would go to ZA forums and would complain that some alpha game have problem with ZA and they must fix it.

Is there somewhere written that it is thread about antiviruses ?!?!?! I guess not !! To your information so maybe you will back off at last. I used other ones and many of them caused very annoying problems like BSOD! or freezing games without ability to alt+tab. So yes I picked the best one that did no problems. This is the first time it did but it is not ZA fault it is bohemia fault and their alpha version. As alfa it needs to be fixed and no I am not the one who need to fix their problems and problems with other applications so stop being a stupid person with stupid ideas of removing programs from pc just because they making conflict with 1 game ! ! ! I reported that arma 3 is causing problems with other program and they are the ones who must fix it somehow not me! As I said your suggestion is USELESS in this case so stop forcing that stupid idea of not using ZA.

I didnt ask anybody for opinion about zonealarm so posts like yours is useless. Its like if you would have problems with windows and someone would just say to you "remove windows and install linux because microsoft sucks" first reaction <facepalm> Some people are just ridiculous...

I had problem with starting this game. It always crash on startup. Some guy suggested that I disable "ZoneAlarm LTD Toolbar IswSvc" in windows task manager\Services. As I did that game started at last after few more tries to run. Since that I was able to play this game every time I started it but in multiplayer servers I was able to play for about 10 minutes then I always got icon showing me that I lose connection and I was limed out from servers. I enabled again that "ZoneAlarm LTD Toolbar IswSvc" but game now wont start and as before it is crashing on startup. How long Zonealarm users will need to wait for some fix for that ?!?!?!

I want 80 minimum! And also remove that stupid 3rd person view. It cant be called sim game with such a dumb idea of 3rd person view. Even arcade shooters dont have this dumb cheat. Imagine CS:GO with 3rd person view. Battlefield dont have it and it is not considered sim game but arma they call it sim but with 3rd person view it is not! It is battlefield clone with bigger maps and few other addons.

In 101% I sign under your post with both my hands and even my 2 legs and ..... ok this one would be inappropriate :) For me 3rd person view in sim game is like making bike with 4 wheels and still call it motorbike instead of QUADbike. I always didnt undersatd 3rd person view in arma series. Even if you dont want to use it you by time are FORCED to use it because others just own you like noob because they see more! In arma 3 I even was able to see through some walls to the other side when using 3 person view. If someone would ask me what is the worst thing in ARMA series I would say..... guess what?!...... YES, 3rd person view ! I was playing many games eoen uber arcadish ones like CS:GO and even there is no option to play using 3rd person view but playing SIM game like ARMA I got option to enable magic camera behind my *** and be like cheater who knows what is above walls and I dont even need to lean from behind corners because of that retarded 3rd person option... So In my opinion arma is not sim game, it is just more complicated Battlefield game. To bad... TO BAD.

Funny but my game decided to work. None of suggestions didnt work and game always crashed on startup. But from time to time I just clicked run game and once it just started loading. I thought WTF :D So I was able to play for about 40 minutes in my own mission and then game cashed. I started it again and then played for about 5-6 hours. I didnt uninstalled ZA. Some dude on chat on twitch suggested that I disable zonealarm toolbar IswSvc to not start on windows startup and then restart my PC. I did that but game still was not able to work it just crashed as always before. I tried few times to run it. But after some tries it just suddenly start. I have no -nobenchmark value added or did not disable/snooze my AV it just all the sudden started. So I am not sure if that trick with disabling that toolbar for ZA fixed it or have any influence on that. I just want to mention it because maybe it have something to do with problem of starting game. On the first game start I had to allow game in ZA so I think that maybe AV was not recognizing this game and was terminating it or something.

Yes it have options "game mode" and option to snooze anti virus for 5 minutes and also firewall for 5 minutes.

I have no OC. On steam forums some guy wrote some tips for ppl having same problem "uninstall zonealarm" I have zonealarm but it is ridiculous that I would need to uninstall it. Game should not be racist to antivir programs :/ I didnt have almost no issue with my pc and games. Only Euro Truck Simulator 2 one time caused BSOD. But other games no problems till now with arma 3:/ my video drivers are 306.23 CPU: i7 3820 GPU: GTX 660Ti MOBO:MSI X79A-GD65 (8D) RAM: Corsair vengeance 16GB

Im downloading it again. Gonna see if that helps...

snoozing antivir and firewall didnt help either :(
