tbh the joy of ALiVE is the mission building.... it's SO easy... please try and build a scenario yourself... piece of piss to get a kick-ass mission up and running. Part of the reason there aren't millions of templates around is what's the point when a complete noob can build one in 15 minutes -

Is there no way to assign a double pressed key ? For instance wipe goggles was always "T,T" for me. A Double press of the T key. I don't seem to be able to recreate that now ? -

Before you change anything in the config - make sure to have lowered the in game brightness setting to 0.5 - 0.7 that will realign the colour improvement to lighting. It still overexposes a little in maps, but you can always just press scroll-lock to temporarily disable. -

The reason it wasn't done originally, was as you say, it meant a Shiite load of dependancies getting pulled in, STKR, CUP, 3CB_units etc However with the reduction to JUST 3CB units/weapons (+ASDG of course) that may now be more viable. We're trying to release the mods to be as inclusive as possible - will keep you informed as to the team decision.

It's coming along - the team are working on unit and group loadouts, Group configs, Models tweaks, Some Texture tweaks etc.. They're close - but still not in a final state yet - it'll be worth the wait I promise.

Sneakydudes, I'm trying to interpret what you've written and I think that you are expecting some kind of "mission" or game-style that RHS adds... Sorry. That's not it. You'll still have to build a mission or dl one from someone else RHS adds units, vehicles, weapons, aircraft etc... It does not add a new style of game-play.... or have I miss-understood what you were expecting ? For instance we use RHS to provide really authentic Russian OpFor for our public or Private ops. We still have to build the missions in the editor ourselves... if that's not it - ignore me :-) SJ- 16574 replies

Yes - this doesn't change any A3 code at all - it just tells your graphics card to adjust colour and saturation ( bit like using the Nvidia control panel to control AA instead of ingame) -

Is it possible to create a Version (b) of the V5 you have released. I played on Cherno last night and found the Saturation was a little too vivid.. Too green. Anyone else tried this on A2 maps yet ? ---------- Post added at 12:30 ---------- Previous post was at 12:29 ---------- Difference is that this is applied to ALL maps / sessions you play on. So if you didn't have control over the mission editor - you could not set those post process settings. This over-rides that... -

Yes, as long as the mod is running on the Client that is spawning the units, i.e. a local Zeus Client or a Server then the Ai will spawn with bCombat engaged SJ -

It also MUST be in the root of the Arma Folder i.e. adjacent to the Arma.exe to work. SJ -
Hmm, if this IS gone.. it's a great shame, one of the best and most useful faction mods I used.... Will be missed by me for sure.
