  1. I got my Arma to work by rolling back my vid drivers to 306.97. Try it...it may help...may not...
  2. Hello, I had the problem of the game not starting. Symptoms were: - The "Arma" load screen would appear for ~5 seconds then go away and nothing would happen. - No -xxx swiches helpled - would see "Syncing" for a spit second in Steam - Dxdiag would crash My Fix: Rolled back my Nvidia drivers to: 306.97 and the game STARTED to work. It's better to do a full uninstall of the drivers from the control panel before you roll back to 306.97. I didn't at first and the game would work but the screen would flicker. Note: I have not tried updated to the latest drivers again so I don't know if they would now work.... So instead of updating drivers try rolling them back... Hope it helps.....anyone :) Ken. --------------- System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 3/9/2013, 14:38:03 Machine name: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130104-1431) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: System manufacturer System Model: System Product Name BIOS: BIOS Date: 12/19/12 19:54:34 Ver: 18.05 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz Memory: 16384MB RAM Available OS Memory: 16324MB RAM Page File: 4125MB used, 28520MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.01.7601.17514 32bit Unicode Display Devices --------------- Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 Manufacturer: NVIDIA Chip type: GeForce GTX 590 DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1088&SUBSYS_15963842&REV_A1 Display Memory: 4048 MB Dedicated Memory: 1488 MB Shared Memory: 2560 MB Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz) Monitor Name: Generic PnP Monitor Monitor Model: VE247 Monitor Id: ACI2493 Native Mode: 1920 x 1080(p) (60.000Hz) Output Type: DVI Driver Name: nvd3dumx.dll,nvwgf2umx.dll,nvwgf2umx.dll,nvd3dum,nvwgf2um,nvwgf2um Driver File Version: 9.18.0013.0697 (English) Driver Version: 9.18.13.697 DDI Version: 11 Driver Model: WDDM 1.1 Driver Attributes: Final Retail Driver Date/Size: 10/2/2012 16:21:00, 18252136 bytes WHQL Logo'd: n/a WHQL Date Stamp: n/a Device Identifier: {D7B71E3E-53C8-11CF-26C5-953508C2C535} Vendor ID: 0x10DE Device ID: 0x1088 SubSys ID: 0x15963842 Revision ID: 0x00A1 Driver Strong Name: oem25.inf:NVIDIA_SetA_Devices.NTamd64.6.1:Section081:9.18.13.697:pci\ven_10de&dev_1088 Rank Of Driver: 00E02001
