Hey guys, I'am organizing an Iron Front Arma 3 Team, something with the spirit of a community of friends , not a clan so you are free to join even if you are already in a clan and you still want a certain degree of freedom.   8. @DannyNickelov: ye same here, I found no trenches in Zeus and the problem is I wanted to combine MCC + Zeus as 3D editor for the very reason to not have to place trenches manully, but I have found no method yet to move trenches with MCC or Zeus : (

Hey guys, I'am trying to find out an optimal way to place trenches without losing too much time and becoming mad with the classical 2D editor I finally found a solution, MCC+Zeus used like a 3D editor, when I found out that there are no trenches listed under Zeus empty objects :( So I tried to add the trenches as movable objects but no way to move them, I get "insufficient resources" error :( http://i.imgur.com/j1YFkpV.jpg (455 kB) http://imgur.com/j1YFkpV Any idea ? any other way to place trenches without losing time ? also I hope to see in a future update trenches listed under epty obejects or a way to make them work with Zeus+MCC, this is very important as specially for WWII missions the 3D editor is even more needed cheers

  16. Okay guys this is a very BIG issue, the ones not noticing this problem I think is because on Stratis and Altis you don't have much tall grass and this problem is so less evident. But try to fight in Normandy in Iron Front on Arma3 where you have lot of tall grass, or try imagine how this issue would totally be gamebreaking in vietnam mods ... We concluded that the only way to fight the enemy AI in Normandy right now is to stay away from the grass and try attract them on roads for more fair firefights, this is a big problem for us.

Thanks for the info Günter, then this is a very big issue, warfare like the one in Normandy and eventually Vietnam would suffer so much from this, this really ruin the experience and the only possible tactic is to try attract the enemy on roads where you can fight in a more fair and clear way. Edit: ok I made a post in that thread http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?183844-So-AI-can-still-see-through-completely-obscuring-grass-and-shoot-at-the-player/page14 we should all go there and write something and hope to attract devs attention, finger crossed to see this issue fixed Edit 1: Is there a ticket we can vote in the feedbacktracker ?
  18. There is a bit annoying problem with the D-Day DLC guys, I think this is dated back to the original Iron Front and is not a new bug. Basically you have very low visibility, which being it Normandy is ok, but look like AI can see too well through concealment. I think the main problem is them being able to see though the tall grass, the Hedgerows seems more ok. I know Arma3 tried to track this problem and it worked a bit but being IF from A2, maybe there is a LOS problem with the tall grass model ? I don't know, not an expert but this is the feedback I had from the players that tried my 2 missions in Normandy. cheers

Guys welcome in the world of pc gaming and mods, there are no shortcuts or magic answers that will automatically make this mod appear on your pc, to have it you need to read the instructions and follow them step by step. But believe me, if you have passion for WWII then it's worth it, as I don't think there are better WWII tactical FPS around
  22. Once you disassemble and reassemble a mortar they seems to stop working, I mean, they don't fire where you tell them to fire on the artilley computer.
  23. I'am 99.9% sure the expansion will be in the Pacific area or Asia in general vs fake opfor china So yeah I think Pacific is coming, hope to see a WWII mod on it

  25. Thanks, yeah sure feel free to use it or parts of it, I made it on the fly for my friends so there can be errors in english lol but it worked. You can also add my mission to your missionrepository, I made it using the last IFA3 version and it should work nice and bugfree http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=327500711 Between yeah even if the missions are simple I think we should all share them with the community, this would help a lot in making the IFA3 community grow.
