RHS: Armed Forces of the Russian Federation A3 WIP Thread
aleksadragutin replied to soul_assassin's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
I'd like to see AEK-971, VSS and AS. -
I wouldn't call it imposing, as it is mandatory to learn many foreign languages for higher education (at least in Serbia you have to learn English, French or German and Russian is optional as well as Italian), I even studied Latin at one point. Just saying that this is nothing out of the ordinary and it shouldn't be used to serve politics. I'm guessing that NK already has to study Chinese. As far as Arabic goes, don't see how it's more useful than Russian (or other similar Slavic languages), because large amount of military equipment is of Soviet origin.

Excellent. Will there be some functionality to them or is it just for show? -
Actually, it might be good for everyone to learn at least one Slavic language, aside from Germanic and Romance languages. It is not such a strange idea.

Something from my side. http://itar-tass.com/politika/1470877

So I guess the months of shelling Donetsk are simply return fire.
-
The thing about urban combat is that there are no open fields. I mean seriously, am I the only one that knows of "house to house" combat? They are also not the ones who invented using buildings for cover. Pretty sure that has been done before. Ukrainian Army has been shelling populated areas for months now. That is already propaganda enough.

What does "human shield" name have to do with this video? I thought that a firing a barrage and then leaving your position or shooting from buildings are common tactics.

They have their own tester circle, so they might just skip the alpha test phase. -
I watched it when it came out. :)

I don't expect you to fully understand what happened and what people here went through. There is a big difference with bombing a country (almost in a terrorist fashion) and a peacekeeping military presence. Let's just agree to end this argument.

As I said, none of the resolutions are in favor of aggression, and Russias involvement in the vote for those resolutions is understandable at that time, however Russia did not accept Kosovo as an independent state, and it didn't play a role in the aggression. Russia was supportive of Serbia for centuries, and even if they voted in favor of the aggression (which they didn't) they would still be considered as a great friend to Serbia. ---------- Post added at 19:43 ---------- Previous post was at 19:41 ---------- There were 500000 around Knin alone. And I never said Srebrnica wasn't a mass murder. It was just less than reported and not organised.
-
And non of those resolutions are approving bombing and military operations against Yugoslavia (Serbia and Monte Negro). The bombing campaign started without UN SC consultations. You are saying this like Russia approved the bombing. It didn't and it was never asked. ---------- Post added at 19:12 ---------- Previous post was at 19:09 ---------- I guess the whole human rights violations hysteria (caused by maybe cutting off internet) was for nothing.

What happened in Croatia is a humanitarian tragedy, first Serbs were declared an unconstitutional people and 5 years after that close to a million Serbs simply disappeared from Croatia. That is a fact you can't deny, and you shouldn't make a parallel with fighting for freedom and rights. Speaking of minorities 15-20 % (i'm not really sure) of the whole population was Serbian, after the war it was less than 5%. Not even gonna mention that they made a majority in the regions they inhabited. Please don't twist the story in your favor (at least out of respect for the victims). Getting side tracked here. Regarding separation. If you really believe what you said, that a nation has to have historical bases, then how can anyone claim that nationalities such as Bosnian or Monte Negro exist? They didn't exist a 100 years ago, so how did they just spawn? If what you say is true, then how can you make a difference between fighting a rebellion and an invasion, or an anti-terrorist operation for that matter? The UN tells you? ---------- Post added at 18:33 ---------- Previous post was at 18:32 ---------- Oh yes, I know. The NATO aggression on Serbia was started without UN Security Council approval. P.S. I'm just waiting for an infraction for my heretic views. I'd just like to state that I didn't bring this up.

The Chechen wars are an internal operation. And while US didn't directly annex any territories, it caused the separation of many of them into so called "independent" countries, which are heavily dependent on US politics. If you sum up territories taken away by the US and it's allies, you'll see that it's way more than Russia took. Another thing are the territories occupied by the US but never really annexed. And then there's the ethics of all US and NATO interventions. And please explain how an invasion could be legal at all. Let's not start with 1948, let's start with the new world order (1990-). ---------- Post added at 07:19 ---------- Previous post was at 07:14 ---------- There is evidence that Georgia started the conflict, and Russia fought for lands that were rightfully theirs. US on the other hand has the urge to fly thousands of km away from it's border to deal their brand of justice. Not gonna comment on Ukraine cause the whole deal is still foggy. Could you also name any Russian intervention other than in Georgia? (Those within it's territory do not count)
-
Anyone capable of defying US is also capable of starting WW3. Deal with this as you may, but US is only good for bullying smaller countries.
-
You're right, the US picks only on those who can't fight back.
-
Well Europe is heavily dependent on Russia, where as US is not. I wouldn't be surprised if Germans do nothing, but the US has it's head up in the clouds and does not give a f*** about interests of it's European allies.

Actually it's as similar to the CH54 as it is to the Ka226 (it also differs from them), but the dual rotor and tail fins sell it as Ka226. -
Maybe they found some ground attack aircraft in their garage.
