The google link from cup's website. It might have something to do with their browsers I dont know. Yesterday one had the network error after downloading for a while with google chrome. I'll ask them to try other browsers. -

Well im not necessarily asking you guys, but the hundreds of people that are using CUP, and might have the same issue and perhaps found a solution. Nothing more my friend.. Is there perhaps other mirrors to downloading cup full terrain, than armaholic and google? Torrents maybe? -

Aaalright.... I'm not complaining, easy there fella... It's the google download they are having issues with. I just thought that when it's a case of more than three guys having the same difficulty downloading, over a period of several weeks there might be more than them. And it's only this file FYI. There might even be someone here who had the same problem, and found a solution or different way/mirror... Just asking for advice really.. Sorry if you read it as complaining. -

I've had several people over at my place report getting network errors after a while when trying to download cup terrains. Any clue to what I can do to help them out? -
Ah, awesome. Will have a look, thank you. EDIT: Well, I have to line in with the rest of you that cant get this to work. Readme makes little sence for vehicle deployment. Pulled the script from the pbo, but nothing really happens when activating it on a vehicle.

Just a heads up, I only have a bisign file when downloading, not a bikey. So anyone using signed signatures cant use this.

How do I use CUP objects on my terrain.

Im not sure, but I would not use the CUP models for your terrain. That makes your terrain dependant on what ever CUP decides to change or not. As far as I know, your safest bet is to use the actual A2 models and let CUP (or whatever addon that might or might not replace it in the future) take care of the rest when you load both CUP and your map in game. -
I do. And I'll rather play half blind making use of my actual optics/binos than just running around with my right mouse button all the time. But in my eyes it makes weapons with scopes stay the same, but weapons/no weapons without scopes harder.. As I like it. And I still see it that way. Not "weapons with scopes get 3x more powerful".. I would also guess that ruPal made this, because some people likes it this way. No need to further on that one really, we just disagree, no one is forcing us to play the one way or another so I'll play it like I want, yes.. - and so should you. :)

Thanks for the explanation, I get it now. :-) Not that it matters, but I just dont agree with the tunnel vision thing. I get it why some think its a good replacement for focus/resolution, but I think its overdone and its better without the zoom as in most other games. A better solution in my near sighted view would be to only have the zoom at maybe 20% of what it is now. But thanks for the addon, rupal. Played a tvt game with it last night, it was awesome.

Still dont get it. :-) Wont the zoom on the ACOG stays at 3.4 or 4x regardless?

I dont understand the mechanics behind it, so that makes no sense to me. Doesnt this just do the same thing as not clicking the right mouse button?

Is this the rightclick zoom? If it is, then this is awesome. To bad everyone disagrees and sees the rightclick arma zoom as a substitute for real life "focus" and therefore a necessity.

Hi guys. This is probably easy to some of you, I however am not so strong in A3 scripting and using it unless there's a step by step guide for an idiot like me. Can anyone help me in how to use the Specific Vehicle Decals? http://www.rhsmods.org/w/afrfdecals What I would like is our squad vehicles to have the same numbers as our groups at 228th. But I would also like to change the decals accordingly to their roles. So if I understand it correctly, I would need to use these lines on the btr-80A. [btr,[["Number", [9,10,11], "HandpaintBlack",46]]] spawn rhs_fnc_decalsInit; and [btr,[["Label", [2], "Army", [1,4]]]] spawn rhs_fnc_decalsInit; However, I do not know how to use these code lines. I feel like I should mention we play on a dedicated server, I don't know if that makes any difference on how to use them, only that I know some scripts needs to be called server-side. Hey ruPal. Ah, just as I was finished testing the podnos at 1000m. you came up with a version 2.4 update. ;) You have probably fixed it now, but here is my results from v2.3. It looks like it was doubling the range. Rangetable at 1000m charge 1 said 1363MIL which results in aprox. 2km shot instead of 1km. :-) http://i.imgur.com/OWRsJ6i.jpg EDIT: Just tested 2.4. Can confirm. You can disable battleye in the launcher for singleplayer use until it gets updated, as battleye doesnt allow the .dll files to be loaded with the game. -

Oh noes. But yes, RHS Works. But with eden they are now the worst sounding weapons in the game. :P Just want to add that the old JSRS 2.5 with RHS still seems to work in eden for me though. :) Good job on the fast release! Such an amazing sound mod.- 1214 replies

I have this as well. Explosions and gunshots right next to me are extremely quiet and almost completely silent even in an open UAZ with explosions right next to it. How is this not a huge issue for most RHS users? :P- 16574 replies

This is my favorite sound addon. I only have one problem with it (The RHS part). When in a vehicle (RHS) - explosions and gunshots are allmost mute. I can barely hear them. Even in an open UAZ. Am I the only one?- 1214 replies
