  1. Really hope you have a change of heart in a years time, when ARMA 3 should be up and running.Shame you spent so much money and have been so dissapointed. While I agree with 90% of what the OP said I still think there's a bright future for A3.Will most likely be the Community to come to the aid of the title I would be very surprised in seeing an ARMA 4 in year's to come. BI simply don't have the tech, development or cash pile to build on as is clearly evident with A3. Anyway hope all the people who have lost faith will come back later to enjoy A3. After over 70 hours of enjoyment so far and another 700+ hours more to come I fully intend to enjoy A3. Wish nothing but good for BI in the future, maybe they will walk away from PC gaming and chase the console goldmine and wouldn't blame them. I fear in 5 years time they will be no exclusive PC developers, massive shame.
  2. Loving nearly every minute of A3 so far but really have to agree on the core mechanics, netcode and such poor optimisation for a 2013 release.I know BI don't have the financial resources for a new gaming engine but would have thought there would have been a better way to utilise their existing tech. Really hope BI make good money from A3 as I believe they deserve it and really hope they can pump some of the profits back into development. Apart from that as with every game since Flashpoint, having a fantastic time with some very good user missions begining to appear and with patches and fixes to come the future is bright(if only it wasn't blurry).
  3. Despite some flaws, missing content and poor performance issues ARMA 3 (along with Rome 2 Total War) are shaping up to be the pinnicle of PC gaming.BI and CA have been the greatest exponents of PC gaming over the last decade and long may it continue. Have been gaming since 1981 and after playing 50 hours of ARMA,have to say nothing in the past 30 years or more has come close to this amount of entertainment. Some really good user made content is now starting to appear, more fixes from BI will follow so stick around as there's 4 or 5 years of gameplay in this product that I purchased for 25 Euros.Best money I have or will ever spend.
  4. Really hope the ''seagull'' glitch/bug/cheat whatever it is gets sorted soon.Have really been enjoying mp the past couple of days until today.Have gone back to testing in editor untill this gets sorted. After such a wise choice to release the Alpha and bring much needed funds into the BI coffers, would hate to see the newcomers to the franchise walk away. Arma 3 has the potential to be a massive seller this year, even the COD and BF players are starting to take an interest. Anyway hope all the good momentum being built up since Alpha release doesn't come undone by this.
