  1. This is also the case for me on 1920x1080. Tooltip almost too small to read and so on. It seems the interface have changed appearance a couple of times already during the last updates. I'm assuming it's a known bug.

    What was the source of your problem? I've noticed that the scenarios I can't load also shows the "no entry: gunparticles" error once opened in 3den. I don't know if that's just a coincident or not.

    Anyone else having the problem where loading a mission would cause the server to go back to the mission select screen? Seems like it started after the Apex expansion was released.

    How do I force respawn players at the start of a mission like you've done on the Apex Protocol campaign? I.e. starting the mission when all players are ready, or forcing respawn if timer goes out.

    This respawn system is definitely better than the old one. The only important improvement I can think of is to enable full spectator mode instead of the limited one that's currently implemented. It doesn't display any valuable information at all, and there are no indications of how to control the thing.

  9. How would I go about to disable any global map markers? I do not want to disable entire channels because typing should still be possible. Maybe there is a way to detect placed markers and change their appearance?

    It's nice to see that you're back up and rolling again! I'd like to request that you add mounting points for bipods on the Ak4's if that's a possibility. Also, versions of the 1X and 3X aimpoints without the sun blocking net would be a great alternative as it's kinda useless in the game (even though it looks cool). :)

    Since HLC was updated to NIArms, I just tried with NIArms AK Rifles, but the publishedid of that mod causes the same infinite loading screen. I have even tried loading an empty mod with just the meta.cpp and the publishedid for NIArms AK Rifles, but that does not work either. Have anyone got this working on a Windows dedicated server? I'm only able to test on Linux.

    I can confirm the waypoint bug, as it occured when I was playing multiplayer a while ago too. We have a couple of move waypoints for our helicopter, and it keeps stopping at each one for about 90 seconds before moving on to the next.     Maybe it's not an Arma 3 specific bug. Do you have sound in other games? Did you recently change your computer's audio setup? Try different speakers/headphones. On an unrelated note, I'd advise you not to use Comic Sans if you want to be taken seriously on the internet.
  17. What I wrote in the first post is basically it. I placed some units and added those three lines to my description.ext. Spectator mode works upon respawning, but whatever I do with the missionNamespace variables, I can't get them to work. It's not a spectator script I made on my own, but the default one. I'm starting to think it may be broken. EDIT: For reference, this is the spectator mode I'm referring to.
  18. That makes sense, but I've tried all different possibilities now, and still can't get it working. I've tried looking in the official EndGame scenarios to see how they did it, but I couldn't find anything. I saw, however, that they are using missionNamespace in a similar manner for other variables, by putting it into initPlayerLocal.sqf. Are you able to get it working? If so, can you provide an example scenario? I have no idea why this isn't working for me.

    I'm hosting my own server, which isn't on all the time (try server.armasweden.se if it's up). I narrowed the mods down to only HLC Core and HLC AK, but it still doesn't work. It's HLC AK that gives the infinite loading screen when clicking "More details..." on the server mods. meta.cpp for HLC Core: protocol = 1; publishedid = 286800413; meta.cpp for HLC AK: protocol = 1; publishedid = 286785370; Maybe it's worth knowing I'm running on Ubuntu. EDIT: When I put the HLC Core meta.cpp into the HLC AK mod, the Launcher recognizes the mod as HLC Core. I hope that gives you any ideas.

    Hello and thanks again for this splendid mod! Now that we've played a while with this, I've come up with this list of smaller improvements that should improve the mod. I've tried to organize it best I could. #1 First off, let's talk about the Ak5. It looks very good, but have some flaws; mainly, the sound. When firing the rifle, it sounds very low pitched. It's missing the "pop" that can (and should) be heard in other rifles. It makes it sound muffled in a way. There is also this reverb effect going on. It makes it sound like I'm firing inside a large empty hangar, even when I'm outside. The muzzle sound is too long, or you're not using the "tail" system correctly. I don't know, I'm not a sound professional. I've put a comparison video below. EDIT: Now that I watch the video, I also noticed that the muzzle flash is very small. I don't know if that's intentional, but it kinda looks weird. #2 The reloading sound also has a small, but not as important, issue. It's too loud, especially the click at the end. It's very high pitched as well, making me almost want to take off my headphones when reloading. Watch the comparison below and you'll understand exactly what I mean. #3 Another thing that is not sound related, but related to the rifle, is the viewing position of the Aimpoint scope. Particularly the ironsight on top of the aimpoint has a zoom level when aiming, which often results in me only using that option since it gives better visibility. Here's a comparison between the two aim modes. That's what I had on the Ak5. Seemingly unimportant problems at first glance, but they are reducing the quality of an otherwise top-notch rifle that we use every day! #4 The 7.62 49Rnd and 7.62 99Rnd for the MG weighs exactly the same! The 99Rnd should be twice as heavy as the 49Rnd for logical reasons. #5 Also weight related, the Remington shotgun, that barely have any weight at all. It even weighs less than the smallest SMG! #6 The FFV545 Illum and FFV469 Smoke both says Type: 84mm Smoke round and acts accordingly. The Illum round actually pops smoke. #7 This is something that's quite annoying as a mission maker. The backpacks are pre-filled with stuff. I know there is an empty variant, but I'd like tailor my own loadouts, which is not possible with the class specific backpacks (we want those class badges on our loadouts!). This also means we cannot use the awesome 4x missile tube thing, since we're using another mod for the launchers, and it's packed with the wrong missile type. I would suggest that you empty all backpacks, and only fill them in your pre-made SWE units. That's all for now. I hope you take this into consideration, because we love the mod and only want for it to be the best possible!
