    Impot object does nothing?

The file that you have exported rename it with the extension .txt! Normaly now you can import the file.
  2. Why you don´t use the new method with shapes? http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?179123-Tutorial-Making-roads-in-Terrain-builder it is so easy

    Remove Object from a Layer

This method is useful if you want to replace an object with one another.
  6. Cype_Revenge

    Remove Object from a Layer

You can make this on two different ways. deleting the object on your library.....(but not the best solution). My another way, to export a layer. Clicking with the right mouse button on the layer and "export", selecting active layer and select all on Available templates. now klick OK and export your file on desktop or whatever.... The file that you have exported rename it with the extension .txt! now you can open this file with Notepad or Editor and edit or delete single objects. Save this file, for importing the file in TerrainBuilder simple Drag this file on TB. I hope this can help you.... :)

    Preview roads (shapes) in Buldozer

You have many Objects on Map? I have the problem when I start bulldozer with many objects on the map, Buldozer freezess me. Without objects everything starts normally and I see the roads. Maybe you have the same problem? I then make this: i export all my objects in a .txt file, i remove my objects. open Bulldozer ,and when its running i insert the .txt file with my objects.

    Bulldozer was terminated

I recommend you to use the Milkero tools, which saves you a lot of time and trouble.

    Moving Objects in Buldozer

Same problem... i use this: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=23914 after creating the layers in TB you can use this to convert the images to .paa. and if you do that ,after you can start bulldozer.
  11. I've been working for some time now on my map. Only my surfaces I want to rework again. So far I have changed the Satmask always with PS, only that is a huge amount of work. Is it possible create the Satmask with V4? I have found this, but it does not work, I make a mistake? https://manuals.bisimulations.com/vbs2/2-00/devref/Default.htm#TMHowTo/Create_Basic_Terrain_QuickGuide.htm Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks ;)

    Quick Terrain Builder Tutorial

"Originally Posted by Mondkalb" If you use Arma3 as buldozer in Visitor, press "S" until it says "Brush", then use LMB to increase the terrain, and RMB to lower the terrain. Also you can do the following Left Alt + M + Mousewheel will change the intensity Left Alt + B + Mousewheel will change the brush size Left Alt + N + Mousewheel will change outer brush size only Left Shift toggles a leveling-mode.

  19. Yes Egil i see the Light .... i got it working with the great Tools from Mikero Only the Arma 3 Objects is not showing "f....g Bug!"
  20. Egil what you use to make the pbo, Addonbuilder o pboproject?
  21. I have imported a few houses with MoveFolder and I see them perfect in the TB and in Game. But not the objects on the map, neither the A3 or A2 objects. I have the same problem as Egil. I used pboproject and controlled in the setup the paths to my addons in P drive. Then I tried Addon Builder, but I don´t see any objects on the map.

Importing A2/OA addons in Visitor 4

for me works perfect ,use this to move the A2 addons to V4. or this for Buildings: Bushlurker: For something tricky like "buildings" I do a 2 stage process to catch the stuff that isn't in the config like above... Make a folder - P:\YourTag\My_Buildings Go to P:\CA\Buildings - copy all models - paste them in your new buildings folder Run MoveFolder Set "Destination" to that new folder Tick the "Move CA" box Click - "Crunch from P3d content" all models now have their assets & rvmats and they're all repathed... Then I go back to MoveFolder Set the "SourceConfig" path to P:\CA\Buildings Click "Crunch from config" this basically just does the same job over again, so no harm done - the bonus being that those models which WEREN'T mentioned in the config are already present, and already done The other bonus being - if you now look in P:\YourTag\My_Buildings you'll find an at least partially repathed config which is a handy start If you're only wanting to grab a few models from that folder then again - a combination of one or the other or both methods should get all the material transferred with at most, some config work left to be done
