    Hey gents, first off I've never realized how satisfying exploding heads make ARMA, especially when you go all pistolero on them. I had a question regarding the set up of zombies themselves. I want to make a multiplayer mission which involves having to get across Altis to an extraction using the mod. How would I go about making zombies spawn all over the island and only when players are around? Would I have to place individual spawners or does the mod support/have some sort of large scale spawning system?

    To be fair, the reload looks cool as fuck anyway and until we get the ability for different animations for dry reloads and 'tactical' reloads it's not like a reload animation is the end of days.

    No it was not a question about real life, it was regarding the mod sounds. That video also shows off a reverb of sorts when the camera is at a distance from the shooter, something that RHS weaponry currently does not do.

  11. Has there been any word on those new buildings that one of the CUP guys was working on for ARMA 1/ARMA 2 maps? He was making a load of them enterable and what not.

    Blastcore Tracers A3

    I know this thread is for the tracers but Blastcore FX thread is locked. Seems on 1.60 there is an issue with heavy weapons by the looks of things and am wondering if anyone knows how to fix it? Seems to occur every time you fire a high caliber weapon such as the 3CB Wildcat's cannon:

    But they retain exactly the same sound over mid and long distances? Up close yeah they do sound more realistic but over distance they definitely sound off. Outside in areas with mountains either sides or in forests there are no reverbs at all?

    Action Menu Streamlining

    No it's not, but it should be an option to be able to remove the action menu entirely or at least make a new action menu that does not rely solely on the scrolling of a mousewheel as well as having multiple options which can be accidentally used or cause confusion. E.g. trying to open a door you are looking at but actually opening one to the side. I honestly think ACE has always had the right system. Using a two interaction menus which each contain sub menus, separate from other actions. It's how I'd love to see it done in the base game.

    Pretty sure it's already a known one, we are currently awaiting the next update to fix various bugs.

    Action Menu Streamlining

    Hark fellow ARMA players and BI devs! I come to you with a proposition to help streamline the action menu and help remove it's need. This system would be one method to solve the issue of switching ammo types via scrolling and instead make an intuitive, nice looking method which would not require any additional keybinds (unless wanted by the player for more control). Ignore the fact that I made this diagram in paint.net and just imagine the normal nice ARMA menus and such. As well as a extremely light weight magazine management system. I mean you are adding in proper vehicle Fire Control Systems and CCIP systems so why stop there? Also I agree with various other people on this thread, never in my life have I ever used the 'Rearm' function in the action menu. I'm pretty sure any time I have ever accidentally pressed it, it did not actually add anything to my inventory. Not much need for it in my opinion. For infantry anyway, vehicles it's definitely a must.

    Folders in Virtual Arsenal

    Pretty sure there is some stuff being developed for weapon camouflages similar to how it was done with vehicles. Cant remember where the source of the information came from but I'd imagine if it is still the case something along those lines will be added to the VA. Also all the suggestions being made here are great, folders for both saved loadouts and added mod content would make for much easier use. BUT THE ONE THING WE ALSO NEED ARE EXTENDED UI IN VA. When using a lot of modded content and even vanilla there are various item names which are too long for the UI. Especially mods such as RHS or NIArms where magazines have long names. Please BI, extend the UI! ; _ ;
