Is it possible to add enableEnvironment false; to a config.cpp for a custom soundscape mod I'm working on? Currently the only way i can use the custom soundscape is in tandem with a mission that includes an init.sqf with this added to it.... waitUntil {time > 0}; enableEnvironment false; My goal is to release the soundscape as a standalone mod, without the need for an added mission. Is there any way to achieve this other than the above? Thanks in advance. :)

Regarding the latest addition of ambient sounds (creaks, rattles and wind)......in the userconfig, can the Greek/Mideast sounds be disabled leaving only the creaks, rattles and wind sounds? tpw_soap_volume = -2; // Volume of ambient sounds. (-2 to 2), where negative value = no music, only environmental fx Would setting this value to -2 achieve this objective?- 5764 replies

Melee weapons and Arma don't seem to work well together, could be the reason there are no prominent melee weapon mods. I can recall using a katana from some weapons pack I forget the name of....It was entirely useless for killing zeds in Ravage, without putting yourself at extreme risk.....I mean who wants to get up close and personal with festering Infected.....another downside to using melee weapons would/should be the effects of fatigue on the player, pulling a trigger from a safe distance conserves more energy than swinging an axe around your head. Implementing melee weapons that are effective in combat would take a fair amount of work for very little gain. (my opinion of course, Haleks may see it differently) The addition of an axe or other improvised tool for chopping wood etc, would be much more beneficial. Long and short arms are not hard to find in Ravage. Just my 2 cents. :)

As an avid Ravager myself this is an awesome feature......are blood splatters on the windscreen possible?

I can confirm this in Eden editor, however effects can be selected in the 2D editor. (running 1.60 rc)

I like this a lot, very immersive......the ability to add custom sounds/dialogue to the script is also really neat. ........could that be another little script tease at the end of the video....... :P
