Just depends on various factors. Ofcourse your end goal is the lowest possible count (however some prefer higher quality with a performance hit while others lower quality with good framerates) Personal preference in the end Take a look through A2/A3 samples for polycount references- 1 reply

Yes the new MLASS pylon wings will be available on the DAP. Both (2) and (4) will be included. But be warned, the more pylons means more weaponry, and that means more weight which will result in slower flight and increased fuel consumption. So mission makers need to plan accordingly.- 1638 replies

Absolutely my bad I should have been more specific. Pavehawk will be standard grey along with the other camos available. With that said I didn't see the point in soar camo birds. Just standardized colors -

What do you mean vanilla models? The samples? Sounds like your trying to open binarized (encrypted) models which will crash O2 -

Seems the error message relates to one of the A3 official DLCs. You try it without any mods at all? -
As one of the mod dev's I'll give you permission but always be sure to get the green light from authors before modifying/re-posting work

Both are already fully supported with custom rope memory points. These points will be listed in readme for players also if you guys have your own fastrope. The only downside is it doesn't hide my rope models on the bird, say I may remove them for now -

Testing has begun. Alpha release hopefully this weekend. Depends on issues found. Keep in mind it will be limited to basic helo and functions. Still haven't implemented fastrope, custom mfd screens, cargo door animations, etc. The Alpha will fly lol, have basic instruments, base afm, ffv, door guns, full rotor animations, basic flare countermeasures.- 1638 replies

Mountains would be cool. I'd like to see another "inland" map with just a coastline much like chenaurus -
It will never die. Most of us that were here from the start are still here loving the platform and enjoying our own styles of single player action. Are the "veteran crowd" enough to keep BI wallets stuffed? No. There's been a huge increase in newcomers for A3. More so than any previous title, and younger too. I think alot of console players end up wanting more, a more personal experience so to say. But then they get here, and learn fairly quickly arma is a complicated, beautiful mess. Alot of frustration, especially with newer players, comes from the fact that arma is a wip, an evolving game that (for good or bad) always changes. This change can affect gameplay experience. Arma veterans will always share one common trait, patience.
