    Don't all AI units shoot at Parachuting pilots? Which is also against the Geneva convention IIRC. It is a universal problem with Arma's AI.

    It happens in the animation viewer too so it must be the animation.
  7. I'm not a dev, so what I'm saying might not be true, but the Carrier itself isn't one solid model, it is several models glued together. I'm not sure if it would be possible to animate the catapult across the models. Carrier placement angle seems to have broke in today's patch. Looks like they're trying to stay level with the sea bed angle.

    Today's patch fixed the issue lol. Well the AI/Autopilot can land the F-181 fine without the tailhook deployed, it stops short of going over the edge. I haven't actually tried it myself manually.

    Is the carrier longer in game then it says on the DLC page? The page says 337 Meters, but it is almost 40 longer then that.

    The Centurion turret can't seem to lock onto anything. The AI will track and target, but it doesn't lock on or fire. Controlling it via UAV operator, I can't lock on either. I can target vehicles and fire, but the missiles can't lock on.

    It looks like only the F-181 and Sentinel can Auto-land on the carrier, rest of the planes just go off to nearest runway on the map. Is there an attribute that modders will need to add to their jets to allow them to land on carriers?

    Several people have reported this bug, so I'll assume it will be fixed, This is a dev branch after all, all WIP.

    I forgot what thread I was in sorry, I thought I was still in the carrier thread. However, the carrier does act like a mobile air strip. I'm sure BI could probably make an invisible strip like you suggest.

    It already has one, and the Auto Pilot landing can use it. But I'm not sure if it has an ID that the AI can use through scripting.

    It appears all planes (even modded ones) can use the catapults, not just those with launch bars. Someone on another forum i visit said they launched a C-130 lmao

    Sure they can walk on it, but try getting them to get in a helicopter. I saw an entire squad turn around and just walk right off the deck. You can take control of the new carrier turrets using Zeus' remote control.
