How you ask? I dont know. Im not the one trying to edit his work with no permission. That being said I am unaware if he has licensed his work. How does one steal? according to Sa-Matra ask 404 So thus it wont work until you get Sa-Matra's serverside init or take the one from Marker.

This is evident in A2 also, I think, they will start yelling unknown transport 003033 then as you get it gets closer it is confirmed friendly or hostile. Its not because its not hostile its because they have to identify if it is friendly first. You should be able to test the same with fog and on foot. They will detect you but not fire until they confirm the target. I.E Hold This waypoint type will cause the group will move to and stay at this position indefinitely. Only a Switch type trigger or script command will move the group from the waypoint. While waiting, any unknown targets are checked (group moves in the direction of the target) and any recognized enemies are engaged.

Amen ! Opfor= bestfor -
Im going to have to agree on suppression by large explosions and large calibre rounds.

:bounce3: I had a dream...

Ahhh wastelanders happily steal someone elses work against their wishes. in his own thread...
-
Yea I meant other than that. It is a step in the right direction I just I dont know. I fear I may be falling into the state of just being happy because I am want to be happy.

I still think they need to tweak the numbers as you can carry 4 at rounds and the backpacks even if you forgave the length couldnt take more than 2 really. http://s10.postimg.org/i11gvupd5/screenshot_2013_08_07.png Actually the more I play around the more I wonder what really changed :P Most(if not all) of the backpacks can still take atleast 1-2 rockets.
-
god help me but Anachoretes has something of a point. One doesnt need to actually shoot to suppress. i.e An apache is hovering over an open field. An infantry squad would be "suppressed" and unable to move out of fear the chopper firing.

Essentially It isnt at ACE's level where you stumble/pass out (cmiiaw) but it def appears to be heavily penalized. Someone who is a better tester than me needs to look as it is 0627 and I am mostly asleep. As for Giant Stuff into tiny backpacks well yea.http://s10.postimg.org/5wm7evch5/screenshot_2013_08_07.png Missiles arent the only thing like that. Guess which one is a 150rd box and which one is a 9mm mag. http://s10.postimg.org/ddveu3209/screenshot_2013_08_07.png To be fair I dont think they will ever fix that unless they add specific backpacks for the missiles i.e the rpg backpack from OA.....

Another page and two people are added to the positive camp. :D That being said initial review of the new weights and fatigue makes me quite happy. * I reserve the right to head back to grumpy mode later* As for companies, I assume you mean GAME companies, and even then once you leave the mainstream it really opens up. ArenaNet. Paradox (I may be a fanboy), Troika, Introversion etc etc There are quite a few companies where the devs are very vocal and interact with the community A Lot. The problem is, it is rare for that to get attention outside of the community really and NOT only does the company know how to encourage a positive environment but the community also shows its appreciation in massive ways. i.e. - https://www.wepay.com/donations/98172 and I quote Oddly enough I cant really find others

what types of DLC would you vote for?
Masharra replied to Tyl3r99's topic in ARMA 3 - QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Sorta like the US military? -
Just random test. 5 nades 1 fak 5 mags 4 riflenades 4 Missiles (2)at+(2)ap 1mprl launcher 1 katiba GL rifle possible- has about a 7 second sprint time. mg + 450 rounds + mrpl launcher + 4 missiles + 5 nades + 1fak possible -- Near split second sprint time :D + 5-10 second jog time before fatigue kicks in

What a long winded way of saying "shut up whiners"

I hate being a shit player. :D

I would say this is more on a level of principle albeit mine. One cant start a thread saying listen up devs you did a shite job. That would be closed in a minute/ told to go to first impressions or the like. Actually here is the real Irony in my eyes. In the two pages this thread has what 3 people who actually explicitly agreed with the OP(in this thread). If anything a thread like this is somewhat damning with faint praise. and is to me somewhat on the low end of showing how much one cares about the dev team and the game. Ah I see A veiled jab at the devs intelligence. They are so stupid they dont know that facebook/reddit/pcgamer exist and need you to tell them. I am in awe of your linguistic skills. Even ACM and the like of Brink managed a few good thank you threads throughout all the negativity and they kept it up for a while & still do. Here what... 10 people "max?" appear to have overthrown the masses of the positivity crowd. Heck they cant even stick together and voice happiness in fellow thread? Seems to me most of the happy camp arent that enthusiastic or thankful enough to hop onto the forums and say thanks. (Oh wait.. these forums are pretty much the only place that is vaguely negative and suddenly the world is going to end BI devs are going to get depressed and /wrists) That being said. Thanks BI Devs. I am not blindly optimistic or overly happy with all of your decisions but I do appreciate your hard work, late hours, and dedication to your vision. I may not always seem this way but I do love most of the game you have made. I guess that is why I am so "grumpy" I love you too much. You get that? I love you too much... Please dont get a restraining order.... You know I wont listen to it....

Masharra replied to Tyl3r99's topic in ARMA 3 - QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
:D Exactly. I always thought engine things should be added via patches and optional things are done at a cost via dlc. Now I understand how the new generation wants it. Fixes to the engine should cost money... I wish I was in game development. You will get dynamic lighting in dlc #2 $19.99 Official jsrs(comparable) sounds dlc #3 $19.99 Best AI in the series ever dlc#53 Also nice Idea Orlok! -
I think they count variants. I.e the Borderlands style of counting. 1 bazillion guns.

happens all the time with cod, bf etc etc. I see nothing wrong here.

what types of DLC would you vote for?
Masharra replied to Tyl3r99's topic in ARMA 3 - QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
It is my dream that they would go around doing content for countries. 1 map for germany 1 map for spain etc etc and the corresponding countries army+ weapons. That way I can get my mission making on :P -
These forums acidic? My god what would you call more reputable company forums?

http://www.arma3.com/launch-countdown scroll all the way down. also note this
-
Is this sarcasm at the only one jet at launch? If not if the community really loves BIS they can do like me and lots of other people did at launch of GW2. http://tyriapostcards.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/cakes.jpg The goal was 1k but the community doubled it and Arenanet donated the rest to charity.

That is where he got that. At release 1 jet. Maybe more but No promises.
