  1. made a little addon that enables the full use of the Insurgents Faction in ALiVE

    without that addon ALiVE will spawn only infantry and no vehicles

    I am not happy with Leights OPFOR as enemies, will soon replace them with the Insurgents from RHS Escalation.

  3. US Insurgency ALiVE Takistan

     

    Based on the classic A2 Insurgency made by Fireball and Pogoman.
    Players must search houses to find random generated INTEL items to find enemy cache locations.
    Destroy cache locations and win!

    Features:
    Coop 16 RHS:US vs Leights Terrorists

    random IED's, random enemy camps, enemy roadblocks
    ALiVE Combat Support, ALiVE Command & Control (squadleader/player must have Laserdesignator equipped )

    Selectable Features:
    disable fatigue, disable revive, HALO, recruitment, weather and time

    Map:
    CUP Takistan

    Addons Required:
    CBA, ALiVE, CUP Terrains, RHS: AFRF, RHS: USAF, IWAR

    Warning:
    do NOT run mission with Leight's OPFOR Pack
    units are removed and it will break mission

  6. Could you also implement AGM funcions?
    I also would like to use AGM, but until they fix the "weird" medics bug I would wait to add AGM functionality biggrin.png

    Looking forward with interest for the version with ISIS as Opfor !!

    for now I will not add any CSE medic and or AGM modules

    feel free to add it by yourself but be aware that removing the missions revive will break some functionality

    I'm not a friend of mission's that needs a ton of addons ;)

    Srry mayby i have come up little rude myself in the first post.

    I search for a good insurgency mission since we lost the a2 one. Ok dapmans insurgency in A3 was very good also to be fair.

    We are a greater community and me and a other one of my clan test the missions before we let 15 players on.

    To secure the mission do what it should and edit it to our taste with cse. So we did with yours and so we rush threw to check the functionalty and how it performs.

    I know making good missions is not an easy task and there is always a lot of heart in it, if its own made or edited.

    So back to the topic.

    First we haven´t found a briefing in the map overview, only the description as in phronks version and it tells me what it should be in an insurgency style mission.

    Search red grids clear them find the intel and it leads you to the cache.

    So we fly to the grid zones walk threw fast for testing, found a lot of intels and it lead us to the cache. We dont like instant action either, but when its not logical in a mission it becames strange.

    I speak of, we found the cache but no one is defending it, we thougt ok maby something gets wrong and we got armared like it is somedays.

    But nothings gets better no live in takistan after an hour maby shorter testing it.

    We play with cse/rhs/ALiVE/Leights OPFOR/AIA Tp all uptodate.

    I only take out farooq's revive script and changed it to cse medical system but there shouldn´t occur a problem like this.

    After this i tested the mission like you made it, but same problem.

    Mayby i have overseen something and we made somthing wrong on our end.

    Can you clear things up or can someone confirm this problem ?

    Because i cant find the problem and dont know how Alive works never build missions with it.

    Eidited: After Malcoms post the problem should be definitly on our end.

    if you fly over the map with a jet the enemies won't spawn! I disabled enemy spawn when flying over map for performance reason

    also you disabled farooq's revive and replaced it with CSE that will create a lot of problems with stuff not working

    mission has many scripts which depend on farooq's scripts

    so the problem definitive is on your side


  8. Unless this has been fixed recently it's a bug in Arma 3... your best bet is to include the .hpp file(s) with proper path (you won't get this error in editor only on dedicated server)

    I did test it on dedicated and host and never got this error

    Hi! I have tried it and it seems that is the same version as Phronk made it =?

    The only differnce for me is that the intel problem that it spawn in the corner of the map is solved, but a aother problem occur for us. There is no enemy around, we get in the zones and is instantly green, and we have stabilzed takistan in 1 hour because we are the only one that was there ;).

    Otherwise i think it can bring allot of fun, like your idea with rhs russians.

    It is the same mission style as Phronk made but totally different in the build up of mission and tools used.

    "Based on the classic A2 Insurgency made by Fireball and Pogoman". Pronks mission seems to be based on the same old mission.

    Search the zones to gather Intel and not enemies, there can be enemies in zones but also none. Did you read the briefing?

    As of no enemies, did you rush the map in Rambo style? ALiVE needs a couple of time you being in the same place to spawn enemies.

    Sorry being so harsh, I did test and build this mission now for months and never encountered problems like that.
