Hi, I'm looking for a how to or some tutorial or just anything to lead me in the right direction of setting up my own private DayZ server on Linux. I've run into a standalone server on these forums and I've asked multiple times but haven't found an answer. Please refrain from sending me somewhere on the internet as well as I've probably already seen it. Thanks for all help in advance, Jim

How do you get this to work with DayZ or is that possible?

The AI shooting down planes system at the moment is highly unrealistic. I do hope that changes in the future because of how annoying it is. I like to fly the A-10 and unless I'm going as fast as the aircraft will go I get shot down by an APC or a tank. It's very annoying because it's very unrealistic.

Oh wow. How sad, I don't use Google Chrome and I don't understand Russian so I'm not sure what was there now but the fact they used your mod to try and get money for themselves is beyond sad. Hopefully they have some sort of DMCA near them to take down such a website.

I sent this to you but I'm not sure if you got it seeing as I'm rather new. I'm trying to use this to setup a DayZ private server, am I wasting my time or is this possible?

It's funny because I'm working on setting this up now but it's a massive hardship. I looked through a lot of tutorials and never could figure it out and am still presently working on it. As far as the error you got, I believe you fixed it with moving the .so.6 file over to the other directory (don't remember the specifics). Something I also ran into was making sure all my directories were in lowercase and not uppercase, that can kill the server if you don't do that by making your arma 2 server life a living hell. All the insight I can offer for now and if you wouldn't mind I'd really like to know how you did it because I'm not currently able to figure it out at all, despite how many tutorials I watch on it.
