What about just killing the audio voice of bot/player when he's been shot dead while reporting? I don't know if I understand you properly but same system is in ArmA II right know if we talking about the same thing of course :p If we do I think that it should be easy but if it is or not I can't really tell. -

So this shot shows RPG hitting in ammunition compartment od M1A2 TUSK which leads to it's destruction? Does that means it's realistic? No. Ammunition compartment in M1A2 have additional armour protecting crew and tank itself from being fully destructed. IMO ACE2 did it fine. -
From what I understand Physx will be both CPU and GPU in ArmA III "Arma 3 â€@Arma3official @Clavus PhysX does work on other cards. It's just not accelerated and thus you can't afford gorgeous effects, but the cars will be PhysXing." As far as optics goes I don't think that 3D scopes are priority, I don't mind if we'll get flat ones like in ArmA II or OFP. You're right, old hitbox system should be changed with new penetration system. ArmA series has always been about infantry - and that if tanks have old hitpoint system or realistic armor system HAVE impact on infantry! I agree with you on that but im afraid that if something is added something must be cutted. -

Really if someone says that BF3 blurred graphics are better than fotorealistic ArmA 3 ones - shoot yourself. I've seen many FPS and ArmA III is the best looking one - i would paid any money for BOX version of it even if its 300$ - don't show me other games, waste of time :D But really - the attitiude of "what i want" should be changed to "what is needed" - You can't have everything inclusive - all in one - BiS is relatively small studio with small amount of money and priorities needs to be set. This is why visuals and animations are priorities but i hope that they will make improve on AI's, especially walking in urbanised areas, intelligent move inside buildings etc. -
Devs already said that if they would reveal release date we would know first but who would trust BIS devs? :p [no typo]

This. Im saving my money so I hope i'll get a decent PC before christmas 2014 to play it even around 21-22 FPS ;) -
I think that blending from animation to ragdoll is featured in - without it ragdolls would look really strange. So problem is rather with huge library of get in/get out animations for every vehicle, especially for transporters - than "one bullet showing off unpredictability of war/causing interference with game engine/ [type anything]" - it's war, sh*t happens. Where the ragdoll starts is where animation stops.

Having an river on Altis with source of it knocking off some mountains on island - would be great. Dynamic water flowing through island - but i guess it would take alot of computer resources. To make underwater envorinment more complex i would add more coral reefs, differentiate underwater envoirnment with more and less depressions, not only fishes but also rays, shells, molluscs etc. also on some distance of the island much deeper i would add maybe even some active underwater volcanoes - would be great to reach them with submarine. Also there could be some remains of XVII-XVIII century ship wrecks etc. On the open sea even an oil platform could make an interesting mission. BDSM - Big Drivable Ships (in) Move :) Container, carriers, crusiers and destroyers - all of them should be possible to make them playable - that would add another spectrum of warfare in ArmA III - Naval assaults etc - just imagine :) -

Another important thing that came into my mind is when a tank tread is being damaged it should slip off the rest of the traction/transmission system. There should be better blood efects - when soldier is shot, some bullets will penetrate his body and that would left blood on the walls etc. SepSol is right - Physx on objects like grenades and smokes for example - it would be much more realistic. More random animations of walking and running for AI so they won't look like "clones" Facial expressions like in old OFP but more advanced. -

I have the same issue with errors occuring when trying to play missions i've made in editor - "missing this and that" Even when i installed ACE via SixUpdater it showed me missing files of ACE content - and that surprised me. But I found them separatedly on the internet, put them into addon folder and viola - everything works! Back on topic: In my opinion there will be an ArmA4 when BIS decide to work on it. We should be happy that they working on ArmA 3 - and that they will bring us developer support for it and attention to that title like no any other developer of games like BF3 or COD would. -

Yeah, I think that it could be possible. I don't want to sound like twat saying that if it's in VBS2 it'll be in ArmA 3 but i believe they said somewhere (BIS) that transporting vehicles on truck trailer will be possible (i can't remember where I red about that i'll look on that and post here if i found out). So theoretically it's possible with engine to put vehicles in C-130 and maybe even eject them while in air. But im not sure about that if theres someone who could confirm or deny that information. I believe i've read somewhere about that but can't remember where :) -

I mean some intel on their advance on the project. I'm not complaining about release date being pushed back - i'm happy with that fact because it shows devs want to bring us polished game without annoying bugs. -

I hope to see an campaign with the story and characters and feel like in CWC and missions should be like in Resistance campaign. What I don't want to see is ArmA I and ArmA II type of campaign, no team razor and no hollywood borrowed bullsh*t. Bohemia showed not once that they can be creative and make their own content, along with the campaign story, so yea I hope so that ArmA III will be revolutionary to ArmA I and II just like OFP:CWC and Resistance was. -

Most of what i would like to see has been posted by other community members, but would like to point some of most important features i would like to see myself: Better AI -covering various tactics, even if seen in OFP: CWC, Resistance like flank, sending scouts - but more various and advanced. -possibility to AI for using buildings as a defensive structures, positions to strike and take hold in, better "understanding" of building envoirnment, enhanced behaviour in buildings. Better soundsystem and radio system -Sound system depending on the distance, environment, structures, trees etc. Example when firing in buildings sound would be much more distorted , reverbered and a little echoed -Weapon sounds, battlezone sounds like screaming commandmends, unit status, enemy position (BF3 like but tuned down), syncing radio messages with enviromental sounds ie shots, explosions + being able if close enought to a soldier/AI to hear real voice along with radio message. Possibility to tweak your radio to hear broadcasting radio station or enemy radio messages spoken in Persian language. -Explosion sounds be more rawy and less hollywoodish, they need to have more deep so someone with subwoofer would make his neighbours sh*t in their pants :) -Vehicle sound should be on it's place :) No Warfare mode in ArmA III or improved one: -intelligent High Command for AI taking use of all its resources in wise ways *various classes of units knowing their roles like AA teams, AT teams, SpecOp teams, regular troops, tank platoons, helicopter and aircrafts used as a transport/support units, artillery *each of teams/groups/platoons subordinate to HQ which bases its data on UAV's, scouts and SpecOps. HQ gives certain group certain task like take over a village, ambush that convoy, capture officers, generals etc etc. *HQ defending vital points as airfields, ports, roads as priority then villages, cities -intelligent AI -playing in warfare mode as a soldier has been an frustrating expierence. Putting mines on a road between my base and enemy captured cities caused my supply trucks to raid on mines i placed for enemy tanks. Solution is to: *get rid of supply trucks, warfare buildings (only defensive-structures and bunkers left) and "cash" - instead of it, capturing an airport/airfield, ports would give you support like armored vehicles, troops etc. Also - this would make this game mode more attractive and addictive, realistic. You and AI would start to have vital points, keys to survavibility and priorites for places to defend/rush on. *also making this along with HQ subordinate would stop all AI teams from engaging towns/capturing them move to another town while previous was recaptured, coming back ther to recapture it and again and again and again... Advanced Wounds System -Where you shot - is where is a wound -When you shoot enemy legs with machinegun it will left him wounded but not died instantly. -Bandages for units that would be visible in-game -No gore in vanilla but make it possible to add it in modification. Also when soldiers hitted by artillery round there should be only some red mist left (or they bodies should not be "almost clean with few drops of blood in it" - rather dirty, charred) -Better blood effects, ex. when fighting in the buidlings or near wall you shoot a soldier and in some cases it may left some blood on the wall, especially when he falls on it (ragdoll) Enviromental interaction, destruction and eye-candy efects -APEX support in vanilla/DLC or patch so modders could use it in future. -Explosion in bushes and trees would left alot of leaves flying all around and model of partially destroyed bushes, fragmented branches -Craters left by artillery rounds - let the leaves and the "bamboo thing" bend! Realistic weather -if its sunny and hot day there should be an heat haze on the ground -if it's stormy then wind should be much more heavier, with trees/leaves reacting to it -improved rain and puddles Adv. Armor Systems -No more hitboxes, realistic armor penetration depending on type of armor, weaponry used, distance and angle -22mm roundholes in jeeps etc would be nice to see -If armor is penetrated an crew member can die, or the amunition can be hit, whole interior can stand in the fire causing explosion Realistic areodynamics for airplanes Caves, we want caves :) Also some underground structures would be nice for MP even if AI can't make a use of them properly. Thats just few a got in my mind.
