  2. Hey guys, so im having an odd issue with Terrain Builder. I've setup my P:\drive and all that good stuff. Contents in the picture below: http://puu.sh/kwIJo/35bd1b2b4a.png However, when I open up my Terrain Builder and go to select my project folder in my P:/drive it does not display the same P:/drive, in-fact it seems to be looking at a completely different set of folders. Here is what it looks like in terrain builder: http://puu.sh/kwIN0/6dac348b59.png Now I did some searching and found my ArmA 3 Tools folder to be identical to the one being displayed in terrain builder, is it possible my 'ArmA 3 Tools' folder is overriding my actual P:/drive in terrain builder or something? Any ideas? Cant really continue with my project until this is resolved, so any help would be VERY appreciated. :)

Im no expert on CTI or MSO, but ArmA 2's air AI is extremely silly, many times I have witnessed enemy choppers flying into the hills of Takistan and Chernarus without taking any damage, so its possible the enemy air may just be killing itself before getting to you. Additionally, if you are solid at editing missions or scripting, you may be able to edit the mission itself to include more air. I hope this was somewhat helpful. Ha. :p

    ACE for OA 1.13

    Hey pal, you can bring them back by going to the @ACE mod folder(it'll be wherever you installed the mod) then going into clippi, then opening up aceclippi.exe, from there you can edit your ACE settings and enable crosshairs! Enjoy! Let me know if you have any other questions.
  6. It's more than worth it, like Gunter said - most mods required ArmA 2/OA to work, so you'd be silly not to get it. It's super cheap right now too, pick it up!

    What effect would DirectX-12 have on FPS for ArmA? I understand they would be positive, but how drastic?

    Wow! Tanoa looks absolutely breathtaking, I cant wait to have some firefights in those jungles. On a sidenote, I can literally feel my PC melting from the sunshafts!

Our player vs. player scenarios allow us to pitch two or more teams against each other in close proximity, needless to say; things get intense. Near the tail end of our sessions when things our winding down well lean back in our seats and play some more..'interesting' missions such as Sports Car Race or Gang Showdown. Anything that doesn't fit in our cooperative or adversarial categories ends up here.     It doesn't feel the same

    So, I've been playing ArmA 3 with my group Core Tactical for a few months now. We were an ArmA 2 group originally, played it for nearly two years before moving over to ArmA 3. While we have enjoy'd our time with ArmA 3 so far..one thing most of us have come to a conclusion on is the feeling of ArmA 3. It does not feel the same as the other ArmA games, the sounds, the objects, the combat, the AI, none of it feels....right. By right I mean ArmA 2's "right". None of us have really been able to put our finger on it..but we all agree that its a mixture of the games current setting/AI difficulty. In ArmA 2 I felt a part of a war. In ArmA 3, I feel apart of a battle. There is no army of enemy's bearing down on me, there is no golden sounds, I felt like I had a chance. A chance to be a part of a greater conflict. In ArmA 3...not so much. I turn a corner and *BAM* I get smacked down by two AI 150 meters away..I drive my hunter into town and see an enemy APC? *BOOM* im dead in a second. Im clearing a valley with my squad mates and bullets are landing all around us but there is no gun shot it originated from...(seriously why is this a thing?) I don't know, it just doesn't feel the same. I suppose im looking for other opinions, so what do you guys think?

  19. Status Update Making the Switch ~ Back In early June 2014 Core Tactical made a complete switch to ArmA 3. However, after a few months the group has decided that ArmA 3 is not quite ready for us and that we will be making a partial switchback to ArmA 2. Core Tactical has nearly two years of experience in the ArmA series, are sessions run with 25-30 people on average, however we are still looking to grow and expand our member base. We currently run sessions every Saturday from 8PM EST through 2AM EST and Tuesday from 7PM EST through 11PM EST.   20. Hey guys, so I recently ran into an extremely weird issue. I can no longer hear players gun shots. This started after 1.28, however I didn't really notice until last night. I didn't touch my audio settings or anything, I can hear AI gun shots fine, I can hear all bullet impacts and what not. But I can NOT hear player gun shots. Any ideas? This is with vanilla weapons. Thanks guys.
