I don't understand, what's new ? Everything beside the helo is from the campaign release, almost 6 months ago. Grey CSAT uniform has been ingame for a long time.

at least now I understand why they didn't want to take the same road they took with Arma 2 DLC content. Two helicopters : not a lot of textures to blur and make the user want to buy high-def textures :p

I guess I'm not the only one thinking about the Cargo System from A2 -
So this is a feature, not a bug ?I'll have to endure this everytime I have to take helo as a passenger with AI piloting ? Singleplayer is becoming funnier to play everyday :icon_frown: I'll go puke and I'll come back.

My post wasn't about Landtex, I also use it in A2, I just couldn't make a comparison screenshot with the "old" version of AIA so I had to use an A3MP one. Also thanks for all the time you spend listening and answering to everyone. -

No difference noticed at all' date=' it's still blurry as hell since last update.I feel really bad for not keeping the last version to make a comparison printscreen before/after update. So here's a comparison between A3MP (midDetailTexture like it was before last AIA update (fix inclued)) and AIA as it is now after today's fix (and was before today's fix) I know lightning is not the same (same date & hour though), but just focus on midDetailTexture please: Old midDetailTexture : (click on picture) New midDetailTexture before & after fix : (click on picture) It's a shame because AIA get everything better over A3MP but since last (big) update, midDetailTexture is as ugly as hell :( Mid range texture is so bad, you can even see trails missing. EDIT : I checked if I didn't apply the LITE fix over the HD version of AIA but it's not the case, everything is AIA SA HD, or at least is supposed to be. -

Isn't AIA and CUP projects already (greatly) taking care of A2 islands without having to redo everything just so we can have a bigger (laggier) map ? Also I feel sad for Panthera but everything you'll make will be awesome anyway :) -

nope, last AiA SA had great mid range texture like in A2, now with this update it has the ugly A3 one, babe_midtex didn't change anything before nor now, I guess it doesn't apply to anything other than Altis/Stratis, I don't know -

Ok downloaded, tested, it has been fixed, thank you !EDIT : But please revert this : This is awful, it makes me want to puke, it's the reason I can't play without babe_midtex in A3, please don't bring it on A2 maps :( -

Yeah but no : For me it was the best news ever, but I tried and it doesn't work with A2 right now, so I guess there's something missing for it to work on A2. I'm also looking for more news about that -

It did perfectly make sense until A3 change that a little bit less than a year after release... And there's no responsiblity involved for the player at all, I don't remember having tuned my AI in OFP, Arma, Arma 2 and early Arma 3 for each mission. It was done one time (like you'd do on a server) and then it was forgotten, check for a topic complaining how A2 or A3 (before change) difficulty setting is too complicated, you'll find none because people wanting to tune these settings did and those who don't want to didn't, no more complicated than that. Now that they introduced a way to lock difficulty there's even a way for mission makers to stop those who want to tweak to do it. Also I really worry about replayability but I guess right now it's nobody's business and everone will cry in 2 years on user's (long gone) missions topics like it's happening right now on Arma 2 after BIS decide to change the way missions work in their last update, broking hundreds of missions.

Is the sun intensity changing abruptly intended?

I don't have that either... I remember this being a problem but I've tried today and it works for me. Did you check latest dev branch ? Do you have the same problem at every hour of the day (sun location) ? -
But since they introduced a way to force/lock difficulty setting for missions afterward (like they do with their campaign) I don't see the point... Why not give more choice to the player for missions where mission makers didn't took time to balance ennemy/friendly AI when there's a way to lock difficulty for missions where mission makers took the time to properly balance their missions.Also if you played Arma2, you should know, a lot of missions will not be updated until the "end of life" of this game, which means AI will evolve (I hope so) but missions won't (at least a huge part of them) and then it's a whole lot of missions unplayable with no way to fix this (you can't even modify it in the mission pbo, thanks to the workshop). This has no replayability value and it's a shame to give players less choices in a sandbox game when it was perfectly fine in OFP, Arma, Arma 2
