    It does looks 100000 times better and it's a great thing ! But it doesn't mean that there isn't a few real bad problems with nights and how the map looks now, I mean we get new tools to draw on the map but in the meawhile you can't see anything anymore on it and can't tell buildings apart, what's the point...

    The new lightning is awesome, sure it will need some adjustments (like night time and midrange texture now that there's less smoothing to hide how ugly it has always been) but this is definitely an improvement.

  12. For me the main problem is : Each and every link is broken It means every link forwarding to mod topic or anything else on Armaholic is broken and takes you to the homepage. Also every link forwarding to important topics within the forum itself prior to this update are broken.

    SmokeCS.pbo and Non-BlindingSun.pbo are broken.As for the flares, Non-BlindingSun.pbo make every light look like a nuclear explosion, it's the same problem for the sun, check my post 3 pages back :

    I guess because for some people Arma3 is a big disappointment. I reinstall Arma3 each time there's a stable update to see if it gets better but everytime something is worst and I uninstall it again. It's like if it was Windows Vista... I'll wait for Seven. In the meanwhile Arma2 + ACE is still the best game ever. Btw don't bother quoting my post with hate, it's just my opinion.

    Yup, I miss the good time when we could manage Enemy AI and Friendly AI separately, that's one of the main reason I still enjoy playing Arma 2 and not Arma 3 anymore.

    any work on animations is always a great improvement and it's not the same dev fixing animations then the one in charge of textures I guess.But Arma 3 has been out for more than 2 years so I understand BIS don't want to enhance Altis nor Stratis but improvement on Tanoa would be great. I didn't noticed any difference, I guess it's because it's only mid-range texture being reworked.

Just a little reminder that you can achieve incredibly awesome results on the midrange texture without any new tech. Instead we still have this watercolor painting ugly mid-range texture and the only "solution" for now is the midrange terrain texture replacement by Bad Benson. I hoped we'd get something better for Tanoa but seeing the last trailer, looks like it will still be the same watercolor painting texture :( NordKindchen mid-range texture mod made in 2013 : Printscreens made today... Cliclk on pictures for High-Res.

    For me the lighting is affected by Non-BlindingSun.pbo, not @BC-Skies... When I delete Non-BlindingSun.pbo it fixes the sun and the lightning stay the say with or without @BC-Skies.:(

    As always, thanks LordJarhead for making this game more bearable. I know it's not a bug and more of a resquest, but after all these releases, I'm still sad thunder hasen't received a bit of love, it still sounds like a cardboard box with metal inside falling on the floor.

    catalina map buildings are a bit too clean and I don't really see them fit anywhere in A2 maps...Also a huge thanks CiforDayZServer for your work. You might be the reason I re-install Arma 3, please take your time and don't rush things to please the community that became more and more impatient.
