I'm finding that while we're suggesting things that already exist, we're just fuelling you to practically steal those ideas and use them in your own weird mod. My advice would be: make a mod that is unique that people will use if they want an added extra to the immersion of gameplay, but make sure its something basic and that you personally can do on your own. Then, once its published, we can see how useful you'd really be in a team of modders or whether you'd just rely on the other members in your team to do all the hard work... That's a nice idea.... However, usually this goal is achieved by a greater more experienced team such as the ACE team who even still, from what I can see, implement other people's mods alongside their own core modifications. As for these new tools that you say BI have released, could you link please, cos last I heard, BI Tools 2.5 was the current release and they're definitely not new ( https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/BI_Tools_2.5 ). You will also find that Quadbikes , hunters, and little birds (and a lot more vehicles) do exist in today's world, and last time I checked China was not an enemy of the states, however more North Korea who would get shat upon if they actually tried to attack. As for renaming, what would you rename a quad to? A four-wheeled death trap? There is a mod out there that now provides a medical system and at the same time creates a more immersive experience while also renaming weapons to their actual names (e.g. PO7 pistol to P99G pistol). So like I say, it's a great idea, but in this world of work, I'd advise you to start small by making one mod, then growing from there, cos jumping in at the deep end on your own, you'll find, everyone will release your ideas years ahead of you and with more efficiency and interest.

Hi, it's just an idea, but because 32-bit applications only use a maximum of 2GB RAM, could this possibly be why there are millions of threads such as 'low FPS' ? I've checked everyone's specs when they make these threads and there are setups that are worth £1000's and they all suffer from low FPS. If Bohemia were to develop a 64-bit application of the game, it would allow the game to utilize everyone's full RAM. Like I said, it's an idea, but it makes lots of sense to me. I hope others can also see where I'm coming from. Thanks, Pricey.

Hi there, I was just wondering, is it possible to do an IP Range Ban on an ArmA 2 Server? Or do I have to type out all the IPs separately into the bans.txt? Any help is greatly appreciated, I have been googling for days now, and no website has my answer, so I have decided to ask here. We have a hacker who keeps changing his IP within a range cos it's dynamic, so for us to slow him down a bit more, we wish to just do a full IP range ban. We know the possible consequences of what this may incur for other players, but we're ready to deal with that. Thanks in Advance! Pricey
