    yes from the beta patch thing in you're description i clicked on the first column (left one) beta patch 100296 installed it and tried to get it to work it did all it's install stuff, i let it do all that and then i tried to launch it from the shortcut it puts in the main directory and then tried it from the expansions beta directory and clicked on the launch ArmA2OA.exe from the beta folder

    i don't know if this info will help but it comes up with those tick boxes and then in my processes tab i watch the ArmA2.OA.exe and the process just ends as soon as it's about to launch

    still didn't lauch, should these be my product versions: ArmA2 : 1.11.0.86734. and ArmA OA : 1.62.0.95248 ? and my target like this : "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2OA.exe" when i try to do it without the last quotation mark it says please make sure this directory exists. so is that all correct?

    So in my desktop shortcut do i do anything to it or just leave it as ArmA 2 and then a seperate desktop shortcut thats called combined operations by default?

    so will this patch allow me to even start ArmA 2 and Combined ops? because currently i can't even start the game the process just ends will this patch fix that? or is that something else?

    should i add anhything to the target it is currently

    "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" should i add anything? like anything to do with OA?

    and with the updates for it they are in a zip file should i run it or extract it to the ArmA2 directory?

    Ok. How are you trying to start the game?

    Through a desktop shortcut, through the Arma2.exe, and or Arma2oa.exe, or through a launcher, or through play with six?

    For the patch just install the 1.62 then, and see if that works.

    should i try using play with six or something?

    should i JUST install v1.62 or v1.60 aswell? or just use play with six? what is the easiest and best option here for me?

    So basically you have version 1.10 of Arma2OA.

    When you start the game and you look at the bottom right of the menu what does it say, v 1.10?

    no i have V1.10 of ArmA 2 standard. I can't even start the game so i have to go into the program files find ArmA2.exe and right click go to properties and go to version. Thats the only way i can know what version i am up to. and i don't have OA installed at the moment.

    thats my p[roblem i can't even start any of them OA nope ArmA 2 can't start either, i just wan't to be able to play it and have it updated so i can play online aswell. I don't have it on steam

    so in you're instance i will edit you're post just before

    so basically i have version 1.10 of ArmA2 (not arrowhead)

    i can't start the game so i use properties on the .exe file for ArmA2 (ArmA2.exe) it says version 1.10 so yes it is that version

    just do as Günter said, doesn´t matter if ArmA2 is on 1.10, it will be detected by installer.

    the only thing is is he says "Run once" for both games, i can't run either of them at all!

    Only way to uninstall the patch is you have to uninstall the game, so I recommend just getting the 1.60 patch and going from there.

    Just be sure you had followed the steps:

    -install arma2 then run once

    -install OA then run once

    if you done those already then just install the 1.60 patch and then test by launching the game and then looking at the bottom right

    of the menu, whats the number you see there?

    It should be 1.60, if so then get the 1.62 patch and install that and do the same.

    i can't run ArmA 2 or OA to begin with though it just won't launch!

    and no matter what i do i can't get it back to the original version i have uninstalled from ArmA2 folder from Add\remove programs and from my all programs list

    this is the message i get after installing ArmA2 OA " The version of ArmA 2 (1.10) is more recent than this patch version (1.09)

    Hi again, this is what you want to do:

    1. Install A2 & run once

    2. Install OA & run once

    3. Update OA using the 1.60 patch

    apply 1.60 then download and install the patch 1.62 below

    4. Update OA using the 1.62 patch

    Note:

    the 1.60 patch will also update your: ARMA 2 v1.05 to v1.11 so dont worry about the 1.10 patch.

    Hi, My ArmA 2 is already at patch 1.10 and i don't know how to uninstall a patch or does me having patch 1.10 make any difference to whether i can get all the updates and play or does it just mean that it's all fine or do i have to uninstall it?

    p.s. sorry if there is 2 posts saying the same thing.

    ok after i installed the patches you told me to install it all stopped working, is this what i had to do (in order)

    1. Install ARMA 2.

    2. check what patch i am at.

    3. Install OA (second disk)

    4. install patch v1.60

    5. Install patch v1.62

    and it should work right? Would this make those patches not work, i installed patch 1.10 and it all worked so would it cause conflicts or something? or could you please give me a very detailed description on how to get it to work.

    the thing is i can't Run arrowhead as soon as i install it i can't run ARMA II or Arrowhead (combined operations) so i have no idea whats going on i will try re-installing and following you're steps anyways.

    it turns out that it worked! thank you so much, i had to watch SO many YouTube videos on DayZ Wasteland and ARMA II because i loved it so much!

    Sorry to read about your troubles, but please post your computer specs.

    ok these are my specs,

    CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHZ

    GPU - ATI Radeon HD5670@1024MB

    RAM - 2GB

    OS - Windows XP

    and as general information (i don't know id this will help) i can Play ARMA II on high (Default settings) whithout Operation Arrowhead, When it is at the end of installing OA, it comes up with this message "ARMA II patch 1.09 you are installing patch 1.10" something exactly like that message.

    Hi,

    i can't run ARMA II. i have no idea why but every time i try to play it it comes up with those boxes all of them ticked apart from 2 and then it almost launches and then comes up with a Microsoft error saying this program has encountered an issue.

    I have tried re-installing 3 times and non of them worked.

    I meet the minimum to recommended system requirements so i don't know. Please help me!
