  1. So hello! My question is rather big for my brain as in... I have no bloody clue how you are suppose to make optics and side accessories look normal... What I mean is, on siderail, I have a siderail selection but when you add the accessory the rail disappears making the gun look ugly as crap! So same is with the optics, simple ironsight, written in selection but when added onto the gun, the ironsights disappear leaving a ugly mark on the gun and the optic ((arma 3 ones)) appear but completely messed up...

    Im completely lost in the process of making it work... Could anyone point me to the right direction...

    That { by unloaded magazine hide did fix something because now it says something different O.o

    Which is rather weird because I use the same layout on my M16A1 :-| and I had no model.cfg problems


  4. Heyoh lads! I got a unusual problem I never got before and oxygen 2 is telling me that the problem is coming out from model.cfg so I had to make a type or forgot something but I kept on looking and found nothing :| Here is the error!

MTP Digital souds interesting but for some reason I like experimenting and I like the current camo with full set but if something better will come up as suggestion I will change it, gotta say the UV map for the model is a bit hard to map but thats normal :P either way MTP Digital would of be hard to find nor make but if you want I can make them have something that "looks" like Chinese digi camo's

    As well, working on Glock 17 and AR-15/M4 Gen 2 import to the game!, gotta get lod's, config files and sizing done.

  6. Oh and one more thing, the mere mention of any topic fictional or not relating to the violation of 'One China' literally makes the CCP shit bricks, I wouldnt be surprised if someone in the Chinese government is watching this thread right now.

    Then they should get some popcorn and keep on watching, because this is only my beginning of fictional Hong Kong :P


  7. Scale-wise it looks oddly oversized, but otherwise lookin' good so far -- though I will add/note that you've got the "vertical foregrip" hand position going on there.

    Scale seems to be fine to me :P And yea animation will be kinda hard to guess which one to use, I toke that one from the M16A4 MLOD config which I think is the Iranian bullpup gun anim, will try to change the animation


  8. Tools are used from ArmA 2 at the moment as BIS did not release new ones.

    Pretty much tutorials from ArmA 2 work in ArmA 3 so not much changed in modding style beside making few new points in Oxygen and in config files.

  9. Little update, slow one but as I said I dont have all time like I used to with ArmA 2 :P

    Thanks to STALKERGB, without him I dont know how far I would of go, the model is getting converted into ArmA 3 system, he did a real awesome job but still more to go :P

    hkdf.jpg Soldier has its ArmA 3 Face and Hands now

    Many stuff to fix on the gun, especially shadowLOD which causes crashes, either way thank you to GameBanana community for allowing me to use their models :) this model credit goes to user "tigg"!

    I have managed to create all animations for this gun, from the chamber moving when firing, moving when reloading and so on so it will look splendid :)


  10. Looked at it John and surely something wrong with my model, the LOD model look way different when switching aka faces...

    They are almost too perfect in look when in the shadowlods and other few... I have no idea what I have to do to fix it I did triangulate process and nothing changed, the only problem which causes the crashes is the shadowLOD not having its "faces" aka low polly look but how the hell am I suppose to get that?


  11. Have you triangulated the faces for your shadowVolume LOD's?

    I did, all tho they do not look anything similar than the other guns I used to see in oxygen >.< I did it as told in a tutorial, Triangulate and then press U...

    Actually to say when I did triangulazing process the look of the shadowlod did not change and yet same error appears and game crashes.
