I'm an ARK:Survival Evolved player on Linux, but I'm an even bigger Arma fan and have been following this port for a while. A few weeks ago, the ARK developers released an update that included BattlEye, and the following day, they released the BattlEye client on the Linux version of the game as well. Is their Linux port of BE native or does it it use eON's wrapper? Does this give any indication of BE supporting Linux for Arma3? The current ArmA Linux port is pretty much useless since we are unable to play with the rest of the world on BE servers. Which is very unfortunate, because I'm afraid it's going to seem like there's no interest in Arma3 on Linux. The reality of it is, there are a lot of us who want to play this game but nobody's playing because of a lack of BE support. I'd really appreciate some info about this. Thanks

I am desperate for some help here. I have searched this forum, I have searched every link within the first ten pages of Google. Hundreds of people are having this problem yet nobody has ever posted a solution from what I can find. Every time I join a server, within two minutes, I am kicked with the message "Signature check timed out". I have: - Deleted and performed a clean install of ArmA2/OA - Installed patches - Updated battleeye - Checked all my file permissions - Disabled windows firewall - Disabled antivirus - I checked the order of my network adapters to make sure my primary adapter was set to #1 - Installed wireshark to see if I was getting any packet errors.. none that I can find. - I've tried exiting everything except Steam in case something was interfering People keep saying they think it's a network related thing. I have no network problems at all to my knowledge. I ran a line test on my network, no problems found, zero packet loss. The servers I'm joining ping under 80. I'm on 25/25Mbps fiber. I have no other issues with any other games. I just bought Combined Ops for a friend so we could play together, and I can't play. I hadn't played for the last few months, so I don't know why or when this started happening. But it's not just me. Google my error.. there are tons of posts about this. I highly doubt all of us have faulty routers..... Please, if you have any knowledge about this, let me know. I am frustrated beyond words.
