Sadly putting this game on the shelf - constant crashing

The game kept crashing on me to the point I couldn't play it anymore. I was using WinXP with Steam install. Then I installed Win7 fresh install just for this game. Nothing else installed. Installed with Steam again and it hasn't crashed once.
