First, thx for the script and the effort. I tried starting arma using your server script on a headless server without using a full x installation. I get the directx x3d problem but dont know a way to fix that without using vnc to override this in winecfg as you wrote in the bug list.
Is there any option to fix this without using vnc or a full x11 installation?

The installer didn't install winetricks xact properly, after doing this manually everything works like a charm, thx
