Great thanks! Should I still use null = [this] execvm "initPlayerLocal.sqf"; this addeventhandler ["respawn","_this execvm 'grenadier.sqf];? in the units init? Jsut wondering becuase I see theres a respawn handler in there Thanks! -

Ok thanks! Also I presume I should take out the if(!IsDedicated) exitWith {}; and the if(player != _unit) exitWith {}; since adding these caused the script not to work? -

also if I do use the grenadier.sqf still should I change all of the _unit to _player like in the playerlocalinit.sqf? Thanks again! Really appreciate the help! -

so something like null = [this] execvm "initPlayerLocal.sqf"; this addeventhandler ["respawn","_this execvm 'grenadier.sqf];? The only thing is that I have been having the same problem when players respawn (sometimes doubling loadouts, sometimes removing them compltely) and I tried adding if(!IsDedicated) exitWith {}; waitUntil {!isNull player}; _unit = _this select 0; if(player != _unit) exitWith {}; to the top of the script but when I tried it on the dedicated server it didn't execute the script at all Thanks! -

Great thanks! So it has to depend on unit classname then eh? Also in in the units init it should be null = [this] execvm "initPlayerLocal.sqf"; this addeventhandler ["respawn","_this execvm 'initPlayerLocal.sqf]; I didnt notice any dedicated/event handlers too, does that matter if using the initPlayerLocal.sqf? Thanks again! -

haha! Thanks for the reply! I have individual loadouts set for the units and I've never done or used the initPlayerLocal.sqf method before, I was wondering if you had an example of it or if there's another way? Thanks! -

Im thinking it hhas something to do with this in the units init null = [this] execvm "grenadier.sqf"; this addeventhandler ["respawn","_this execvm 'grenadier.sqf'"]; as the problem seems to occur when a player joins (which kicks off the script) and when a player respawns (which kicks off the script)? -

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried if(!IsDedicated) exitWith {}; waitUntil {!isNull player}; _unit = _this select 0; if(player != _unit) exitWith {}; at the top of the script but in the dedicated server the script doesnt do anything now -

Hmmm yea when I put the directory url in it says the directory doesnt exist even though I know it does. In theory should I be able to just generate the .a3s repo folder/contents through the build command on my local windows machine (using a folder with all of the mods/userconfig) and then put that in the directory of our linux server which hosts the mods? -

Great thanks! So we got Linux on our server but we've spent the last few days trying to get arma3sync on there, I was wondering if you or someone could give me a quick how to? (One of our guys is great with linux). Ive also tried making a folder with all of the mods/userconfig folder and then building the repo from that to genereate the .a3s folder/contents and put it on our server but when I try to connect I get the "sync file not found" error. Thanks I really appreciate it! We've spent a ton of time trying to figure it out but were just at that point where were stuck and dont know what else to do. -

This looks great! I'm pretty confused by some things though. So firstly for the server in the repo.config is that the location of the repo or the game server itself? Also for the server I noticed to didnt use http:// or anything when configuring the repo.config, do you not need to add it or an alternative such as sftp? Also I tried creating the in/out but I got repo data file malformed! Line:6 which is the parameters line but I only have Parameters=-nosplash and even tried just leaving it blank but it keeps giving me the same error. THen when I try to start it, it says Error 4: No Data in repo.config Thanks! -

also quick question in regards to the medical stuff, for assigning medical vehicles via the module you just put in the classname correct (Im almost positive but I saw a video where the individual put the unit name and not the classname in)? When adding vehicles it says to separate with a comma, does it require just a comma or a comma and a space? Also I was wondering about the revive module, when placed enable revive is set to disabled, does that disable the whole module? Also do you sync the medical facility module directly to an object or create a trigger which you sync to the module? Thanks! -
