  1. Thank you for the photos... I really like seeing it on that certain building in your FOB and on the Hemmit yea... there will be a smaller version most likely if I do make a Hemmit version (I may be getting a trailer version if I get permission from a friend of mine) he made it in arma 2 and now transporting it to arma 3... but hopefully we can combine my script with his model.. we just gotta wait and see possibly try the cram with missiles on the hemmit it is smaller ---------- Post added at 19:30 ---------- Previous post was at 19:27 ---------- Hey guys here is a little sneak peak into my progress (explosive bullets) https://www.flickr.com/photos/118054828@N03/14251974983
  2. @Tybo25 ya Jacob did post that and i have yet to try it out but If anyone has and can take a picture and post it up on here... that would be amazing!!! And in the posibly future if i can find someone to make it or if someone still has it and would like me to put it with this script i would be so up for it... also if anyone can make a mission with it on the hemmit and also possibly on the nimitz ( I am almost for sure someone tried it on the nimitz by now :P) I would love to see photos on this forum to see how yall are using it!!! or videos... they are welcome by me.. also if you do attach to nimitz can you give a basic coding (the height/ location on the ship you attach to so others can see how to do it) so happy to see positive comments
  3. @N_Icomach The C-ram will basically attack everything... Thats why I like having on hill bases so it can attack down on infantry :P @lo0se Yes this does use the similar script as AIS... Ill tune it around so it doesnt collide with one another :) there is a possibility i forgot to change some variable names that they collide with one another and ill fix that and test it out... dont know when it will be fix... and i send my apologies

  6. @Przemro ...not to sound rude... but if you been reading this forum you would have seen that the armor is set to around 1000000 and needs to be reset or have two seperate versions one thats invincible and one that is destroyable.... This is being fixed but is not on my top priority... rather have an awesome c-ram that works and looks realistic then releasing just an update of the armor
  7. Have you tried the MLRS ? I havent got to them but i am 90 % sure I had them inherit the missile to track.... but yes @AngelwingGamingJacob is right... there has to be an enemy unit in the artillery so that the such Blu for or CSAT depending whos in the mortar... can fire at the incoming enemy rounds... there is no point for the Cram to fire at friendly rounds (shouldnt be coming into ally territory)
  8. @Chortles what do you mean by and yes ill be changing it back to a more normal ammount of armor... but still a large ammount so it isnt just destroyed so easily.... and if the community wants there could be a possibility to make two versions of it.... but if i was to make two different versions... is there a simple way? without makeing two seperate addons.. just to make a config of a new one to change the variables of it ? So how is the Anti mortar version of the cram going ? is it working for everyone?

Sorry thought that would have been a given... yes the mortars have to be from enemy... so if you have Blufor units in cram CSAT artillery... if you have CSAT in the cram... blufor artillery... as for the sound its a WIP if you were following on my discussion page... there was a video with an alarm in it... just have to implement it and it should work... trying to find out how to place a trigger through script... that makes the alarm set off when certain csat are in the area or if there is a certain object coming in (alex_target) for example... and have the radius around 1600-2500 but i havent figured that out yet... so if anyone knows how to do this send me a message or post on here

  11. Hey guys... sory I jsut woke up and looked at my config... I forgot to change the armor of the C-ram back to normal... had it on around 100000 for testing purposes (it use to kill itself by shooting at the ground) ill put the armor back to normal so it can be destroyed.... totally forgot I changed it as for using it against mortars... you have to place the c-ram through game editor and have an AI unit inside of it also... the mortars have to come within range of the c-ram (some times doesnt fire due to the inaccuracy of the mortars themselves) if your C-rams dont work... make sure you put the userconfig folder from the download into the userconfig folder in the game... it will not work without that also you have to have the alex_ais installed too
  12. nothing is altered.... i was trying to do like mma... but couldnt figure it out for arma 3... everything is vanilla except for my cram and the script... possibly future may be something like this... but still unknown... but yes everything is vanilla

    Sorry for the delay guys... I am just editing some problems with it... also trying to get some good photos up and some videos so that others that havent seen this before can know what it is... and if im not mistaken... i think ima have to make a new thread on complete because of puting a link for download... so keep and eye on here for me closing this thread and opening a complete.... Possibly a day or so then this most likely will be out as an alpha release

    If you look at an earlier video... I have around 4 phalanxs placed and they are fighting against around 20-30 planes and they destroy the airs within minutes (takes a while due to distance they fly) but ya... it dominates them Alpha release may be soon so cross your fingers

    I think you are able to place it in MCC ill try it out to make for sure... wouldnt think why it wouldnt be able to... if not ill see why not...... as for the release im trying to secure it before i release a alpha... its no where near a "complete" stage so ill most likely stay in discussions or do we have to move to complete section if even a small release ==================EDIT============================== ok my c-ram are compatible with MCC... they spawn... take about a second or so for it to respond to enemy jets and such... but they do work but as for Anti- mortar... For some reason the script doesnt work well for the phalanx when placed by MCC.... so as of right now... phalanx can be placed by MCC for anti-jet and helicopter... but if you want it to be anti- mortar... use the game engine editor to place it (notice- before i release an alpha...) still packing and trying to figure out how to put it up

    cram is a placable static item... can be placed anywhere... you can place it on nimitz ... one of my friends have tried ;) ill see if my friend can make a video of it on the nimitz

    I may be releasing an alpha no where near perfect ... probably will need someone to help shrink it down alot because i can tell there is a lot of work to be done to make it simpler but to work the same way.... but if you think i should release an alpha version for community input give me some insight... I ask because some people usually dont like the release of an alpha where there are still glitches and all... but also this could help me finish this addon quicker than i can by letting other people see my coding
  20. how you want it to go up and down... user input or like mouse interaction or something ? user input like saying rhino down in the user menu... and when the player selects it... the rhino anti-mine goes down and such for the opposite

    Hey guys... just wanna give yall an update... I know its been awhile... havent done much to any work on it... since i have finals next week and i been studying... but you can expect more work to be done starting wednesday on... but will be having a good summer aswell ;) but ya... will work... also been talking to a cram maker of arma 2... and possibly may be using / updating his script in arma 3 if i can get it to work... so right now i have around 1 script that is only AA (anti-air: helicopters and jets and such).... 1 AA and AM (anti-air...anti-mortor: helicopters and jets and motors and such).... and 1 that takes out just mortors.... probably will release 3 different varients (1 for each script).... one i may release early (its done... the anti-air only one) works pretty good... but no "sound" on shooting... and for another am waiting for someone to help me with the "trigger" script that i most desperatly need... and also waiting for my sound mod people to come up with a "sexy" sound for yall with my phalanx fire rate and such... hope yall give me some insight of this idea and such

    UAVs: Feedback and wishes

    Are you fixing the laser accuracy and such... when you zoom in it goes off target for all uavs.... I ask this because I have released a UAV variant USAV and going to add more UAV's in the future, and would like to hopefully see this get fixed
  23. I would like to state its Saudi Arabia, I lived there for 18 years of my life. Have you ever lived there before ? Also are you gonna add sand dunes and Jebels to the scene, would be amazing to see large skyscraper side sand dunes, would remind me of my home. Also hopefully you will add random dust storms and such. Like your progress Hope to see the release of this. Also for animals possibly have wild dogs and such instead of rabbits or something great progress !!!

    @drunkenscoper Thanks for that video, ill refer to it to my sound person, One of my friends who is a sound mod person is working with a friend of his for the Gatling gun sound, trying to make it as good as the real thing itself.... @ice_age0815 The cram is coming great... just looking for someone to help me out with the scripting a trigger, probably simple... just cant figure it out properly C-ram alpha release will be delayed I have finals in the coming week and need to study for them, but i will work on this here and there... If there is anyone that can help me with the Script (trigger as i stated in an earlier post) that would help so much and possible early "teaser" release would be possible
