Ahh thank you very much turns out it was in the Steam userdata file thanks for your help ;-)

So i brought the game on Steam on my desktop and now i have to go away for a while and would like to continue playing on my while i am away. i have back the game up on Steam and Restored it on my laptop which i thought the saved data would of backed up with it but it seems it has not. i have a quick look around on my C drive but cant seem to find where the saved data is saved? Can anyone help me with this? Cheers :-)
