Screenshots are on first post. Really liking the screenshots. If anyone wants to, feel free to post more. Yeah it seems that the Reserve Parachute in ACE gets dropped next to the unpacked T10. It doesn't seem to be game breaking from my testing as you still keep your backpack and its contents so its low on the priority list.

    Removal of the 2D Editor

    Agreed, without a doubt the 3D editor will make the 2D one almost completely redundant. With the nostalgia thing, its not really the point I was trying to make just something I added that maybe I shouldn't have. The main point I wanted to really make clear was the fact that small things that the 2D editor can bring us like traditional spawning of large objects/ships may no longer be possible in the 3D editor, especially if the 2D editor is removed in the future we won't have this option. That is of course if the Devs can fix the issue I describe in the first post for the 3D editor. Its not really realistic for them to fix it as there is nothing like this for vanilla content so this is why I've raised my concerns about the removal of the 2D editor, there should at least be some form of legacy support either with the 2D editor or by fixing it in the 3D one. This is a really specific issue currently and doesn't really effect a large user base.

    @royaltyinexile Thanks for the quick response, would something like a poll on this post help with getting a general idea from users on here about their feelings toward the removal of the 2D editor? Whatever is decide I would imagine it would be for the best, looking forward to seeing what BI have in store for the future of A3. I'll also try my best to report issues like this with a decent amount of information on the feedback tracker to help make some obscure bugs known. Cheers, Delta.

    Parachutes updated on github, this is a replacement of the Static Line mod. The reason it has an individual release is due to the fact that this will be branching out to more than just static line parachutes.     @gameronkel Nah the lynx isn't on the list as I never worked on one. I do plan on doing a naval version of the wildcat in the future however.

    I'm going to wait until ACE release their own way of fastroping, that way i'll have something up-to-date to work with and test when I have a go at adding the support.

    @Baconeo The reason AGM Fastroping is no longer getting supported in these mods are due to the fact that the modding team for AGM integrated themselves into ACE. Once there is an updated fastrope mod released either by the ACE team or anyone else i'll possibly look at supporting the feature. Also thanks for letting me know about the zeus issues, next update for the wildcats and merlins will fix this. @rockfrog Regarding Lala's interior light script, I'm not too sure on how to implement it to the helicopters as I haven't looked at it however I might think about supporting it. I can't guarantee anything right now though. The RAF roundel should be fixed in the next update for the merlins, good spot on that one. With the slingloading I've been having problems adding this to the helicopters properly from the chinooks and onwards, I'm not too sure on how it works but there seems to be some strange way in order to get it to work right.     I've been working on the Brimstone for a bit now so hopefully that will see a release alongside the Wildcats and any other supported aircraft. Not too sure about the FASGW(L) & (H). I don't think there is a need currently for that type of missile, especially an anti ship missile. I'll probably still look at it though and see what I can do.

    Yeah I'm going to look at that, I was wanting to stick a M3M on the side for a possible naval version with radar below the nose. I want it to look similar to the naval version of the lynx : http://www.key.aero/central/images/gallery/6778.jpg Currently I'm trying to get the Merlins ready for this weekend and then i'll try release a hotfix for the wildcats as there was a few issues I missed.

    Yeah can do, i'll add different camos in the next version possibly. If anyone wants to contribute some re-textures for this helicopter then feel free. Also you can use textures from the Vanilla Wildcat and put it on this version too.

    Unfortunately it won't be getting added, the guys at operation frenchpoint were kind enough to allow me to use the model however that was it. They asked that I don't hand it out/release open source so I need to respect that.

  24. Hey everyone, I've been working on a LHD amphibious assault ship for sometime now so I thought now would be a good time to announce it. Currently its a basic port of the A2 LHD however I have started adding interiors to the ship. Right now I'm using the Atlas LHD as a reference so you may notice that the design of the interiors will be a bit similar. I'm wanting to expand on the ship and give it a lot more features than its A2 version. Feel free to let me know what you think about this and give any feedback/features you would like to see. If you are interested in helping me out then let me know as any help with this would be greatly appreciated. This mod will be open source and on github like my other mods.     Static Line Parachute Mod

    @ssg-jordan It seems that there is something wrong with my allowDamage part of the script so that's probably why you're getting injured when landing. I'll look into fixing this however for now it would be best to stay away from sloped drop zones. Note - The mod temporarily will not work with an AI pilot and it is not usable with a RHS C130 yet.
