  1. Sometimes finding the 'Sweet Spot' is difficult... I found that if you hold your 'Left Alt' key down, some of the interaction icons will appear. You can the look directly at them( move look so they are center on your screen ), and left mouse click them. I have also found that if you are standing next to an interactive vehicle/person, you can also use your scroll ring to pull up a list of available actions. Hope that helps! ;-)
  2. T.S.C., Have you looked into the Functions( BIS_fnc_ )? BIS_fnc_heliportDBAdd: BIS_fnc_heliportGetHeliports: BIS_fnc_heliportUpgradePostions: I haven't worked too much with these, but am looking into it as I mod. Hope that helps! ;-) =170=Sven2157
  3. Steam works with the Developers of the games they sell. They write special code for the integration of Steam( overlays, product verification, etc, etc ) into the game. If you buy the game on Steam, you MUST only purchase DLC from Steam!. Consequently, if you bought the game from BI's site, or the boxed version, you can only purchase DLC from there. Hope that helps! ;-) =170= Sven2157
  4. Hello icuPklaCity, 'config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTable.shadow' and Error compiling pixel shader PSSpecularAlpha:0 are possible video errors. Have you tried updating your video card drivers? Another possibility is your DirectX needs a refresh? nVidia Video Card Chipsets ATI Video Card Chipsets Microsoft DirectX Hope that helps! ;-) =170= Sven2157

    1. - I CAN confirm that the people WILL move to the helicopter. You have to be within a certain distance from them; though, I am not sure what the radius is. If they are in the woods( tree filled area ), you can exit the chopper and run up to them. You will then notice two( 2) icons along the bottom of the screen( three if you have an observer ). Hit the '2' key( '3' w/ OBSV ), and use your scroll ring to move the selection to 'Move To', point at the helicopter, and Left Click. This tells them to run over to it. You may have to enter the helo again, for them to get in. Alternatively, you could hit the number key that corresponds to the rescuee, and selet 'Get In'. 2. - The winch is bugged/not functioning/forgotten in the game logic. It DOES NOT work. 3. - The FLIR system is bugged/not functioning/forgotten in the game logic. It DOES NOT work. I have rescued 8 people, as described before, they run to the ambulances, but no score is ever received. They all seem to run to the middle vehicle and just stand there. My friend and I just use the mission for pure enjoyment... I have NEVER rescued ALL the victims, and wonder if this is how the scores are finally tallied... Maybe... Hope that helps! ;-) =170= Sven2157
  6. Hope this is the correct spot for this... Here is a new paint scheme I am working on. I have created a 'Carbon Fiber' effect in Photoshop, and applied it to the main fuse and structure parts. Still have some small details to work out, but here it is( hope ya like it  )... =170= Sven2157 *** EDIT *** For any one interested, I have uploaded the pattern for Photoshop CS3+... ( file: Carbon_Fiber.zip -> Contains Carbon_Fiber.pat ) Carbon Fiber Pattern for Photoshop
  7. The Saitek Profile Software is extremely easy to use. Select a button, map something to it, save the profile, and then activate it when you want to use it. However, I have found that this is not necessary, as BI has made it, also, quite easy to map button via the in-game Control Options. Sven2157
