  3. If you are talking about Simulator additions, that are modeled after the real world counterparts, then check this out: SimKits. There are several companies that specialize in this, they are expen$ive, however.
  4. Huh? :confused: All you need to do in Gmax, is click File --> Export. Then choose one of the supported O2 file formats( .3ds, .obj, Universal BI TXT, etc, etc ). The .3ds type will be your best bet. Then in O2, again, click File --> Import, navigate to your file, and there you go... BinPBO is for finalization of the model. This will binarize your .P3D and config.cpp files, and create a nice .PBO that TKOH can read. Here start with these video Tutorials by Gnat666x. They are the VERY basics of O2. Be sure to start with number 1, and then follow along. BOOKMARK IT! ;) ---------- Post added at 21:53 ---------- Previous post was at 20:53 ---------- Nosecone, You could also try this plugin: ArmaTools for 3ds Max. I know that it says that it is for 3ds Max, but what most people don't know is that Gmax and 3ds Max are nearly identical. Gmax is the 'lite', free version of 3ds Max. So the scripts should work. In the install instructions you just have to substitute the <max_directory> for your Gmax install directory.

  7. Would it be possible to add a function to O2 where you can 'Hide Unselected'? There is already a function for 'Hide Selected', but to hide everything that is not selected would be so much easier, when you are trying to focus on the immediate area of work. Thanks :cool:
  8. No problem! :) They are both command-line startup parameters. Very simple to utilize: Steam: In your Library, Right-Click your game title, choose properties. In the window that pops up, click the button for startup commands Go to step 4 below - Non-Steam: Right-Click your TKOH icon, and choose properties. On the 'Shortcut' tab, you will see a text box labled - 'Target'. This contains the string to your game's executable, and is in "( double quotes ). Click in the 'Target' box and use your arrows to go ALL the way to the RIGHT and Add a space. Now type the command-line parameter. Apply the change and fire up TKOH! ;) Example if you want to try the 'maxVRam' with the 'tbb3malloc_bi' memory allocator( These are ONLY examples! USE at your own risk! ): Steam: -maxVRam=2048 -malloc=tbb3malloc_bi Non-Steam: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\take on helicopters\TakeOnH.exe" -maxVRam=2048 -malloc=tbb3malloc_bi NOTE: There is a space between the two parameters. ALL parameters are separated by a space! All parameters that contain a space, must be enclosed in Double Quotes " Hope that helps! ;-)

    Indeed! It is filled with 180,000 FT3 of Helium( He ). The outside pressure causes the He to contract( move closer together, like a packed snowball ). As the craft rises the pressure will decrease, allowing for the He to expand; thus, filling the shape of the balloon.
  14. @dwringer I have ArmA 2 Free Installed. There are a couple assets that are called, and they are in 'Weapons_3' which I believe is part of Operation Arrowhead. I will be getting ARMA:CO from Steam, when they start their RIDICULOUS holiday sales! :) On a side note check out this post: Red Bull Stratos is about to launch!....     Your YouTube link is not complete/broken! - Anyhow, Heavy Helicopters don't have a 'Pilot/CoPilot' door. You have have to enter them from the rear cargo door; just aft of the pilot seat, before the rear landing gear. Stand next to the helicopter, just behind the pilot's seat by the rear door, hold your 'ALT' key down, and look for the 'steering wheel', icon. The pilot then walks to the front and takes his place at the controls. At time 00:13 you are right there, just move closer to that door. You are too far back...

  23. Hello Everyone, Can anyone else confirm that the UAV Module is not functional in TKOH? I have Rearmed and ArmA 2 Free installed and configured to run with TKOH, but for the life of me, I can not get the UAV Logic to work. I can go into ArmA 2 Free, use the mission editor, and very quickly, have a working UAV station. However, when I try the exact same thing in TKOH, I get the following: For Soldiers, I have used both: TKOH ( SIDE - BLUFOR, FACTION - US Army, CLASS - People, UNIT - Rifleman ) ArmA 2 Rifleman( SIDE - BLUFOR, FACTION - USMC, CLASS - Men, UNIT - Rifleman ) [*]UAV( MQ-9 Predator ) will spawn in. It can start on the ground, or in the air using the flyInHeight function. Seems to be working... :confused: [*]UAV Module( LOGIC ) is in the list but appears to do nothing. I have tried to 'Sync( F5 )' from the units to the module; and from the module to the units. [*]UAV Terminal( I have 7 in the list: SIDE - Empty, CLASS - Warfare Buildings ), no matter which is selected, no command/selection window( like 'Gear' or 'get in <name> as driver' ). UAV Terminal( OPFOR_WF_UAVTerminal_H_DLC1 ) UAV Terminal( BLUFOR_WF_UAVTerminal_H_DLC1 ) UAV Terminal [Russia]( RU_WarfareBUAVterminal ) UAV Terminal (CDF) [CDF]( CDF_WarfareBUAVterminal ) UAV Terminal (GUE) [Guerillas]( GUE_WarfareBUAVterminal ) UAV Terminal (INS) [insurgents]( INS_WarfareBUAVterminal ) UAV Terminal (USMC) [uSMC]( USMC_WarfareBUAVterminal ) I have tried just about everything here: How do I setup the UAV?     Yeah, I too, bought the game when it released. I really haven't seen much activity though. It went on sale on Steam, and I talked a friend of mine into buying it. Now I have at least one person to play it with... Oh my, please don't think that I was looking for sympathy. I am just frustrated by some of the ways things seem to work around here... Yeah, he and I are working on getting the AH-1Z into TKOH, with the Medium's flight model. If you want I have a TeamSpeak 3 Server and we could work together there. Thromp was on earlier, and I suppose we could start an Addon Makers group. That way we could all be right there to give a hand if needed...
