  1. Buy both. You will miss out on all the A2 and Reinforcements (RNF) campaigns and missions if you buy only A3. Of course, buy A2 Combined Ops, and RNF to get PMC and BAF, some of the best content BIS has to offer. I would suggest playing through all of A2CO/RNF before starting on A3 to get a good feel of what BIS is about.

I couldn't agree more with Omac!

GET THEM BOTH! You'll hit yourself hard for NOT buying them and trying it out before ArmA 3 :)

  2. The colonel is right. This DLC is shit, frankly.

There's a couple of nice looking vehicles, but their config is a appalling. The units we already had in OA but BI took them away and made us pay for them, again. They happily let us drool over the illusion of a fixed and updated Chernarus and instead gave us a handful of cut down towns from it. The game patronises players throughout the game with stupid onscreen texts - standing up makes you more exposed? No shit, Sherlock. It won't load itself up as an expansion - you have to force it as a mod.

Save your money and don't bother with it. I'm willing to bet that there will be no servers using it - mine certainly doesn't. Much as it pains me to say it; PMC is a polished product compared to this steaming pile.

I definently agree with you on that one Tank!!!

  3. Hi there,

Basically I'm looking for a realism unit that has a well functioning CoC.

But also some who can have fun as well as being serious when in an "official op".

I like to do small ops in SF groups, but I can easily fight in an Infantry squad etc.

Been playing ArmA since Operation Flashpoint... But a bit rusty atm since I've had several month of leave from the game.

    Some info about me:

    Age: 31

    Location: EU TZ

INFO: Work as a Sergeant in the Army (Infantry), been deployed several times now. (Iraq, Afghanistan).

I know my tactics and my CoC, so I won't get any trouble with me.

I don't mind leading and helping out in the training section - but I don't mind running around as a pvt/pte having fun and being serious when needed. (to lead you gotta show the skills)

So should you be interested, then send me a PM and I'll reply...

Looking forward to joining the ranks of a good realism unit, with a bunch of great soldiers!

    Regards,
