  1. They waste so much time making stuff like this, people have already created mods that pretty much do this already. There is hardly any content in ARMA 3, for example there are no large fix wing aircrafts for paradrops and there is only roughly 6 or so building types you can enter and all of the factorys are locked.

    No meaningful medical system other than scroll wheel and return some hit points.

    Lacking content is one issue but then there are the bugs. For example the MX grenade launchers weapon is white at the end if looked at through a scope.

    If you have SLI cameras and mirrors flash making them impossible to use.

    There is no real armor other than the kind that protects the entire body.

    AI take up to 5 hits to be killed while you will die in 1 hit.

    There are so many problems with the game and there never seems to be any progress with the issues just stuff that we don't really need such as this.

    I think different teams work on these things. I would call this new content though. More jets are coming. Real armor is WIP and already semi in the game. As for the medical system and AI HP, I agree that they need to be worked on.


  2. this is very strange, cause i remember in A2/OA betas we actually added checks that the AI can't see well in dark and hell even affected thevalue by lightsources nearby ... (like lamps) (not sure if moon intensity, as that was added later)

    It's back though. I got shoot 200m away in pitch black by an AI with no NVG (I had no light sources around me)!


  3. If you read the eula, it states nowhere in it, that hacking BE will result in a globalban. or abuse of BE's Service will result in a globalban.

    2 - Licensor is allowed to terminate the license at any time for any reason and without notice to Licensee.

    Altho you can consider nr2 as the globalban.

    however when that's said. im not agains global bans for games. i just think cross game global ban is a bad thing.

    espesially when there is no info about it on steam. i see no info on Dayz that it uses BE as its anticheat. i see no info on steam that a global ban in a previouse games that uses BE will automaticly give you a global ban in Dayz or virce verca.

    Now im also 99% sure that Dayz servers are required to use battleye. and there is no Singleplayer in Dayz? ("i do not have Dayz so i dont know")

    so if thats the case it means you cant use the game. therfor banned from the game.

    for arma3 its up to the server owners to deside if they want to use BE or not. but afik. BE is required on Dayz servers. correct me if am wrong.

    There are DayZ servers without BE, that's why it's allowed. Cross game bans are a good thing, because let's face it, once a cheater, always a cheater!


  4. 5m is really, really high.

    I think a bigger issue is that the game doesn't handle falling well in the first place. There are no animations for it so you just fall in whatever stance you were in when you jumped or fell off. Then, when you hit the ground, you kind of slide/get stuck for a second or two. It's really weird and bad.

    Actually, A3 has a new falling animation, but it doesn't activate on really small heights.


  5. I played campaign three times already, and each time it has different time of the day.

    This mission is certainly easier at night, as AI even with NODs don't detect you as often.

    Easier at night? I don't think so. You're not supplied with NVG (I don't know if you can loot them around), and it's hard to travel and shoot once it gets really dark.


  6. No, BLUFOR can take more damage, players died faster because IA make everytime headshot, but BLUFOR soldier can take 1-2 shot more than OPFOR. :)

    No, OPFOR has the best armor:

    Decreased OPFOR advanced uniform protectiveness of extremities for it was too powerful. Still, it protects comparatively better than other uniforms.

    You just can't make enemies so tanky in a millitary simulator, especially if there are no wounds!


  7. No MBT needed, the only thing you need to do is look around very actively and use a proper team to get trough it.

    What I do not understand is why you want to do this without any help at all, its not some kind of FPS that you can run and gun. You are in a heavily enemy occupied zone in the first place. I moved my team slow and placed them on tactical places around the zone. Although some of my team members died along the way they helped me to spot the enemy easy and Adapt on it fast.

    Listen to your comies make sure you keep the most of your men alive especially those that can apply first aid and AT's, use them as you progress.

    Although I never died i needed a few patch ups from my medic and I agree to a certain extend that it is hard, at least it took me a while to get trough compared to other missions.

    I don't want to lonewolf, but I had to leave my team at the 1st base, because enemies were all around and most of my teammates ignored my "Get In!" requests.

    The campaign is called "Adept" for a reason. :cool:

    It's actually called Adapt lol

    Where did you find the MBT?

    Oh God, I did it. I've lost the 2nd truck, so I just took some random one nearby, drove to the convoy route, put 2 charges, and killed the HTV.


  9. This mission has to be the hardest arma mission ever. Seriously, WTF? First we approach the complex, ok that's good, so far so good. I get in the truck, it's empty, then a whole army starts attacking the base. Ok, it's a bit hard, but I managed to pull through without my team. I even managed to steal the 2nd truck, by sniping everyone there alone.

    But guess what? The moment I take the truck out of the base, some random APC starts shooting hellfire at me and destroys it! Now what? I'm supposed to find yet ANOTHER truck, drive over to the convoy route, plant charges and detonate them? Is this mission created for humans? Why are there APC's every 50 meters?!
