  1. Still can't understand why the minimum spec is dual core. I don't know any gamers who doesn't have at least a quad core. Time to update the game for quad core and use it to it's maximum to help out the AI.

    Most of my friends have Dual Core (including me). Stop acting like everyone is Bill Gates...

    Actually, jets were shown several times, and it's pretty stupid to cut out most of them. But I guess most of us can understand the cuts, and why wouldn't we since we payed half the price of a normal game, and got more content.


  3. Yes, that's accurate. Rain is being worked on at the moment. We're trying to make some improvements from the data side, given the absence of program time.

    It looks like any improvements we can afford to make now will be rather modest, but I hope it'll be better than the state we first saw at the launch of the Alpha.

    My analysis for a full rain overhaul scares the programmers, and its implementation is rather lower priority than other features that need some love.

    Are there any plans to increase wind strength? I know that making bigger ocean waves and bending trees isn't an easy task, but it would certainly make storms feel more realistic and immersive.


  4. In Arma 2 there was quit a big difference in frames between Utes and Chernarus(bigger cities etc.) . I expect the same for Altis with big villages and more detail.

    I think it's logical to expect worse frames isn't`?

    Only if Altis has bigger villages and more details. The game is only rendering objects around you, so it shouldn't make a big difference.


  5. As it is now, it is very difficult to bring down a helicopter piloted by an AI using AA missiles. They immediately release flares and waste AA shots. Have a team of AA AI solders attack an AI chopper and not a single one will land on it. Makes AA useless for anything not pvp.

    I also wondered about this. Can helicopters fire flares every 2 seconds in real life?


  6. Why are still talking about the "fps in the editor" when the (final) game is around the corner and 99.9999999999999999999% of ppl will only be interested into playing this online? I can do 900 fps offline, but it does mean nothing if then i'll not-PLAY (online) at 20 fps. Or someone here believes they are gonna do the magic one day before the launch, releasing a patch that will magically triple our fps (coz doubling it won't even be enough!). It's months that i'm reading: "we're optimizing" ... but i'm not sure what they are optimizing exactly, I do almost the same FPS as the first alpha day.

    People won't play in editor after release? What a joke... Everyone will try the editor when the game releases.


  7. sync this module with the create task and the trigger that activates the succeeded module for the destinations after the 1st task.

    for the first task just sync it to the create task.

    also please make sure all set task states are not synced together like I did -.-

    people have said it randomly works and it does need to be addressed :)

    I did. The video I watched about tasks said that the task destination only works about 10% of the time!
