Still keeps happening! For the love of God, can anybody give me a solution?! Arma is the clear cause of this

I can run OA and Arma 2 Free fine, but if I want to run CO is get the "The game is currently unavailable (Application running)" error! This started happening to me and my friend today! It has to be either the new Beta patch or a Steam update causing it. And please note that Steam asked to convert game content before this!

Either this Beta patch or Steam screwed my Arma up. Steam asks me to convert the game files, and when it does, I can't run it!

Why? It's made specifially for DayZ. It wouldn't fit in Arma 2, and it would be too hard to port now

Completely random. Sometimes it keeps happening every minute, while sometimes I can go for days without this happening

Isn't verifysignature = 2, for that?

Compared to the last month, cheats have dropped significantly! Thunderdomes are a thing of the past now, and masskill doesn't happen so often

Awesome patch! But I have been getting a lot of "Connecting failed" errors when joining servers lately! This only started to happen recently

When I play DayZ/Arma my Internet keeps dropping for 30 seconds and then coming back normally. Sometimes I even lagg on skype before the Internet drops! This only happens while playing DayZ! I just started playing the Arma 2 vanilla MP recently, and my first impressions were amazing! Huge maps, vehicles, teamplay, friendly players, weather effects, decent graphics, and devs supporting the game! Yes, I bought Arma 2 for DayZ, but I also know that Arma 2 is an incredible game!

Why do you hate DayZ players? Who says that DayZ players can't be as good (or better) than normal Arma 2 players? Sure, DayZ brought a lot of n00bs, but that doesn't mean all players are idiots...

In between there were probably banned around 3k more cheaters, so the number is now 20k

I heard that BE banned 2000 cheaters today (or was it yesterday?)! BE posted that on the chat when entering a server!

I doubt that anything changed for the core game. That's why they will lock the game in the standalone game and not here!

Well, DayZ came as an unexpected shock to Battleye. 5 months ago none knew about DayZ, and now it has 1 million players. BE was not prepared for such a sudden wave of cheaters! And yes, the Core game is more important than DayZ, but DayZ also needs more attention ATM

No. The artifacts are a DayZ problem, and I still have them with the newest Beta patch!

Yes, but I think DayZ is a higher priority for BE cause hackers ruin that way more than vanilla Arma. Just wait! When DayZ standalone is released, hackers will move on and hopefully Arma 2 won't be so hacker infested!

OA has better optimization, less bugs and better AI

True... I bought Arma 2 mostly for DayZ, but it still amazes me how much Arma 2 is detailed. Simply incredible

If it's Arma, the problem is not so big. Hackers in DayZ are a different thing. In Arma you can just abort and switch to another server, while in DayZ when a hacker kills you, your character is dead forever

You do realize that there is no undetected bypasser at the moment? BE is doing a good job, but Arma is open and DayZ is a mod. Deal with it! Until DayZ becomes standalone, cheaters will be able to port the entire to a place and kill them! As I said, it's none's fault! BE is getting used to DayZ, it was probably a shock to them xD Cheating in Arma was probably never a big problem, and all of a sudden DayZ comes and a wave of cheaters come. We have already seen BE improving their server logs and other measures.

But BE knows Arma the best. It would take a lot of time for PB to get used to Arma, especially DayZ. BE is great anyway, so I don't see why to change it now...
