So, as there hasn't been any "recent" Update. Does this mean you gave up?

I really love the idea you have. And I hope you will go for realism and keep working on this :)
I got this bookmarked now. And I can't wait for a playable version :)

I think it's pretty damn good that you're willing to spend time and effort into making a war-simulator fun for children. :)

This has been solved, I do not know how. But It's starting now.
Hello guys,
Lately I've been getting computer trouble. Did a full defragmentation to speed it up, worked fine.
I was going to play ArmA 2: Combined Ops with a friend of mine. So I start the game, the cmd box appears. Game loads, it either crashes at the first 2 checkboxes, or when it has to do the last two checkboxes, or just doesn't load at all!
ArmA 2 seems to load just fine, so the problem is with OA. I just don't know where or how.
I have reinstalled ArmA 2, ArmA 2 OA and both PCM and BAF, too. Reinstalled BattleEye, deleted the .cfg folders, reinstalled the beta patch, Verified the game (Steam) But it all seems not to help me at all.
I know the game runs fine on normal settings, no problems with my performance.
I posted this here in the hope I'd get some help, because the mission I was going to play needs CO, and I'd love to be able to play it again.

I do not know what I did to solve it, but the game magically seemed to work again after deleting a bunch of mods. Strange.
Issue firing weapons - range
in ARMA 2 & OA - MULTIPLAYER
Posted
Hey guys, me and my friend recently bought a server for ArmA 2 OA. And were happy with it.
Until we figured out that there is some kind of bug going on with firing weapons.
Weapons fire just fine, but when we shoot, the range gets fucked up. A sniper for example can't shoot 10 meters ahead, even if you'd point it up extremely high.
I have no idea what the cause is, nor how this happened.
This is our server.cfg file:
// ExecuteGaming.com ArmA 2 OA Server Config
// comments are written with "//" in front of them.

We'd really appreciate some help on this, since I'm no expert in coding or ArmA 2 (CO) when it comes to these kinds of things.
