I was just flying in a Blackhawk from OA and noticed no flares actually showed up when firing them. I havent updated AiA in 2-3 weeks, so excuse me if it allready has been fixed.

This is so awesome.
Can it be used on all maps? Or just Altis? :p (might be a stupid question.)
And is it customizable so you can choose the enemies that spawn?

if those are allready in the game files, they're most likely W.I.P. and might get into the game later. :)

But in the real operation they didn't fast rope, did they?AFAIK, the plan was that 1 helo would fastrope operators in and the other one would land outside the walls. Fastroping helo crashed and came down on the wall before anyone could fastrope out, though.
could be wrong.
BTW, there is no door from the left courtyard to the 'main' courtyard (first picture in OP)

I think they changed it to fit around Kerry. So Miller's now an NPC with Kerry. So, yes, I think it did get scrapped.Maybe we'll get to play as Miller in one of the next episodes. :)
As far as the overall campaign goes.. I haven't finished it yet. one of the reasons is that I'm not enjoying it that much. It feels very home-made.
It should be either a LOT of freedom, or a fully scripted campaign. not something inbetween. Now I'm just running after an immortalized Ai dude, at least if I don't loose track of him, that acts like all the Ai in the editor do. I constantly hear the Ai yelling all kind of shit when playing a mission.. dude there, shoot that, move there, etc.
Really missing the cinematic part in the missions, as other shooters have.. Ai can barely stay in formation, act 'cool' or at least make themselves feel like fellow soldiers. nor do they walk and run in a realistic way.
Guess I'll stick to the editor and usermade missions, for now!

is there any helicopter being made for arma 3? a blackhawk, maybe?

I find it very.. lame.. that the "Death Valley" mission is 95% similar to the infantry showcase.
& I don't think that this needs any comment..

can we please have the survival uniform but with the combat shirt and long sleeves? 'real' military uses that too! :D

the campaign definitely needs something that helps me keeping track of my leader. a small indicator in the screen or something. It's easy to loose sight on him, and he, being a stupido Ai, isn't really waiting or taking an obvious path..

I love the Gen. 4 multicam!
Don't like the 'custom' vests though.. guess that's just a matter of taste.
Something you could improve on:
-shoulder patches look weird! US flags should look the same as the ones on the regular uniforms. small patch thing above the flag looks weird for all uniforms.
