I recently bought the Alpha in good faith (I played OFP when it first started - best military sim on the market at the time) and have been unsurprisingly disappointed by the half-baked product. Yes, I know it's an alpha, and yes I understand that the current Arma2 supporters will rally around to protect their own communities but where does that leave those who are new and trying to understand what ARMA is all about? As an oldie, I can wait patiently for things to get fixed (for example - is anyone at BIS going to make a public announcement on how to stop the infection to servers? I was embarrassed by getting kicked tonight from a number of servers because I presume I started the infection on their servers, unwittingly. That's why I'm writing here as it is the only link that seems to addressing this tragic oversight. BIS will lose many new players because of bad PR from other gamers. If BIS had good reasons not to set up anti-hacking/cheating I think it has backfired. Btw, how DO I get to join other servers that are not infected now?

I think most ARMA 2 players will need to adapt to the new opportunities the key bindings allow for in ARMA 3 - there seems to be some teething problems with the Alpha though... I'd recommend watching http://dslyecxi.com/arma-3/arma3-alpha-controls/ as an intuitive use of key bindings for smooth play. Of course it's not always possible to imitate what others have done so my question is what have you done to make optics work for you - I don't seem to be able to find a toggle to keep telescopic sight up. Holding Rt mouse button while you scan the horizon is quite impossible, and then to try to hit your target with Left mouse click AND remembering to use Hold Breath (what do you use here?) makes play quite cumbersome but also quite entertaining as I am sure a 1000m take down is very satisfying! Nevertheless, I have a nice Logitech G5 mouse and I want to bind a few things to the scroll wheel right/left scrolling option and the thumb button (mouse #4)...any suggestions?

I see that others experienced a non-responsive right click when trying to use optic sights and 2 years later, I'm still experiencing it! Does anyone have a perfect key bindings setup to share using keyboard/mouse (Logitech G5)? Much appreciated if you can help!
